Proof Bushevik Rush Limbaugh Hates America: Election Tampering.
No matter what excuses he provides for his official call to republicans to tamper with the electoral process, no matter what his friends and fans say to defend him, Rush Limbaugh is an America-Hater.

From now on, the Bushevik named Rush Limbaugh must wear the scarlet letters 'AH', as he is officially an America-Hater.

Incontrovertible proof below:

(snip)

INGRAHAM: Rush, I understand that the Rush Limbaugh audience is mobilizing in Texas for Hillary. Am I hearing that right?

RUSH LIMBAUGH, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: I don't know if the audience is mobilizing or not. I am urging people — I am using a phrase — the Republicans — our nominee is chosen. It's John McCain.

Texas is open. And I want Hillary to stay in this, Laura. This is too good a soap opera. We need Barack Obama bloodied up politically, and it's obvious that the Republicans are not going to do it and don't have the stomach for it.

As you probably know, we're getting all kinds of memos from the RNC saying not to be critical there. Mark MacKinnon of McCain's campaign says he'll quit if they get critical over Obama.

This is the presidency of the United States you're talking about. I want our party to win. I want the Democrats to lose. They're in the midst of tearing themselves apart right now. It is fascinating to watch, and it's all going to stop if Hillary loses.

So yes, I'm asking to cross over and, if they can stomach it — I know it's a difficult thing to do to vote for a Clinton — but it will sustain this soap opera, and it's something I think we need. It would be fun, too.

3. Well, nobody ever said Limbaugh was smart
And if they did, they probably are about as bright as Rush.

Yes, a few idiots will cross over to vote for a candidate in another party. My brother (the idiot with a PH.D) is voting in the Republican primary but will vote Democratic in the GE. I told him he was an idiot. He said he doesn't care. He thinks what he's doing is funny and oh, so clever. Idiot.

4. It is not funny at all. It is un-American.
I would never do this to the republicans and their party, even though I loath them.

It is, quite simply, un-American to try to thwart the electoral process, no matter how it is done, legal or not. It demonstrates a fundamental lack of belief in America.

Maybe you can try to discuss this further with your brother, giving him a lesson on the American system of government, and why it is unethical to tamper with it?

11. I called him an idiot to his face
Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 05:17 PM by blogslut
It's the best I can do.

However, I would just like to stress that this cross-over Texas thing is mostly BS. The people doing it do not give a damn about the process. If they did, they would vote in their party's primary. My brother is completely convinced that no matter what, Texas will vote Republican. He thinks Democratic votes in Texas are a waste of time. Of course, he said that a month ago before we had this tsunami of Democratic voters show up to the polls. I may call him just tell him he's an idiot...again. :)

But let me stress a very important point about Texas Republicans and this crossover jazz:

When a Republican goes to vote in the Texas primary, the poll worker asks: "What party?"

In a public place, in front of people they know, does anyone honestly believe that proud Texas Republicans are going to boldly proclaim "Democrat"?

What's worse, once the Republican declares his (supposedly false) party affiliation, the poll worker whips out a rubber stamp. The poll worker takes the Republican's voter registration card and marks it in red ink: DEMOCRAT.

So, when that faking Repub goes to vote in November, they have to whip out their voter ID card that now reads DEMOCRAT.

Limbaugh and Ingraham and all the rest of the fools can say whatever they want. It won't matter. People that care about their vote aren't going to cross over. The people who don't care are of such minimal numbers, they would make a freeper convention look practically busy.

Rash Limpballs spent decades hating the Clintons. He built his EIB Empire hating the Clintons.

Seems like a bad business decision on his part to destroy his own Clinton-hating franchise.

He has no love for the "halfrican, magic negro" either.

I think he's one script away from an Oxycontin-induced lobotomy.

20. One bright thing that comes of this.
I know Limbaugh is doing this just to stir the shit and encourage Democratic infighting.

But still when the words "I want Hillary Clinton to stay in this" passed his lips, I'll bet a piece of his twisted black soul died.

Just one of life's little tidbits of schadenfreude.

27. I care, which is why I started this thread.
And you at least cared enough to post a comment. There's our common ground.

"its not tampering unless its something illegal."

Where we differ is our understanding of the word 'tampering':

tam·per (t?m'p?r)

v. tam·pered, tam·per·ing, tam·pers

v. intr.
To interfere in a harmful manner: tried to tamper with the decedent's will; tampering with the timing mechanism of the safe.
To tinker with rashly or foolishly: Don't tamper with my feelings.
To engage in improper or secret dealings, as in an effort to influence: tamper with a jury. See Synonyms at interfere.

v. tr.
To alter improperly.

tampering

noun
the act of altering something secretly or improperly

35. Oops! Pigman screwed up: now repukes in Texas cannot vote in the runoff election.

(snip)

"The only issue Republicans who voted in the Democratic Primary face now, is they will not be able to vote in the runoff election for several highly sought after local seats. A factor they may not have been aware of."

“Rush isn’t always right,” she said. “I have to say it: shame on them. I certainly would not want Democrats coming over to decide who our nominee is.”

First, it’s not the right thing to do, Koehne said. Secondly, you’re affiliated with your party, and endorsing its platform, and the Democrat platform is much different from the Republican one. Third, you can lose your invitation to party sponsored events, as one young man who had voted early — on the Democrat side — learned Tuesday evening when he went to his Republican precinct meeting and was told he could not participate.

(snip)

“He was a young man with a real enthusiasm about participating in the process, and he had all kinds of aspirations,” Koehne said. “We had to ask him to leave.”

He and others like him will have to wait two years or will have to come back and seek to be restored to the party’s good graces.

“He’ll have to rejoin,” she said. “But this year’s county and state conventions, they’re not going to happen for him.”

41. I missed it because it did not happen.
"With a history of meddling in our primaries, why don't we try and return the favor." - One person on a blog making a suggestion does not equal what the GOPers have been doing for decades, and are doing right now on thousands of radio and TV affiliates.

"if you've got friends in Michigan, send this e-mail along to them." - Did millions of Democrats get this email, and did they act upon it? Did Air America, Nova M, Clear Channel, ABC CBS NBC MSNBC CNN FOX, et al broadcast this memo/email? No they did not.
