Relax Obama supporters. Most people don't spend 14 hours a day in an echo chamber called DU.
And they aren't affected by trolls under bridges.

American Democrats do not want Hillary CLinton as their candidate. They have spoken loudly and overwhelmingly.

The bitter barks and whines you hear on DU are no reflection of what is happening in the main.

There is a revolution happening and it cannot be stopped by on-line echo-chambering.

This is what a real movement looks like. We are in the middle of one.

It is the rejection of fear-mongering, politics as usual in favor of common sense from the ground up solutions.

It is the swan song of the professional squatter politician. THEY have caused this. THEY are the genesis of this movement.

Do not worry, fellow Obama supporters. It is happening. It will happen.

Rest easy.

Hillary may squeak by in Texas and Ohio, but considering all the work she has put in, it will be thin gruel to live upon.

10. Agreed. Cable news is watched mainly by people who had their minds made up weeks ago
Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 05:41 PM by TexasObserver
40 Hillary supporters with 5 sock puppets each does not alter the election, even if they start 200 attack threads a day at GDP.

Cable news is watched mainly by people who had their minds made up weeks ago who they would vote for. The truly undecideds don't watch news. They watch regular TV shows and see only campaign commercials. Anyone who makes up their mind the last three days does so on the basis of campaign commercials, and they don't respond well to negative ads.

11. Hillary Clinton MAY squeak out a win in Rhode Island
but she is going to lose in Texas, Ohio and Vermont and STILL find a reason to continue on in her attempt at trying to tear the party in two and throw the election to McCain so she can try again in 2012 and if I'm around I'll do everything in my power to see that her plan fails-in fact I want to sdee Bobby Kennedy Jr take her senate seat IN 2012

30. This was encouraging ..
So, the first question for Hillary come Wednesday, should she decide to continue risking our chances of winning in the fall even though the math says it's over, will be the question she's asking Obama today: What negatives will the Republicans throw against you in the fall? And as I've noted repeatedly, there are some negatives out there that most of you don't even know about - but everyone in Washington knows about them, in detail. That's because even Democrats who don't love Hillary, don't go there, for the good of the party. On Wednesday, the good of the party may dictate that we do.

12. Democrats want her
It's the young people who are too ashamed to call themselves Democrats, along with GOP crossovers, that are helping Obama. Take a look at every single, solitary exit poll. There are few exceptions.

13. "Overwhelmingly" = 48%
And only 45% of don't want Obama to be their president.

It's a knock-out! A cinch!

But whoever wins, we will still love them like our first-born. Ohyeswewill. Count on it.

28. There is a HUGE troll under a bridge in the Fremont area of Seattle.
One of Seattle's most famous pieces of public art, in my favorite Seattle neighborhood - although Ballard is great too.

"Greatest giant troll statue north of 47 degrees. Some people just don't "get" it, but they're uncultured jerks. Every last one of them. One day, the troll will come alive and swallow them up like so many delicious Volkswagens. That's swift, cold troll justice."

Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 06:02 PM by Major Hogwash
I don't see how this drag-it-in-the-mud primary fight is doing us any good whatsoever.
How can Hillary be an asset for the party if she can't support our nominee after she loses to him?

In years past, some hard battles were fought, but not at this vitriolic level.
And not on the internet where everyone could see it happening.

Rove, McCain, and Bush are the only ones happy about this slugfest and name calling jazz.
