I am traveling to Ohio tomorrow for work
I was checking the weather forecast and it does not look good. Rain in the south and middle of the state with snow and ice in the northern third, How does the weather affect the turnout?
Who is the winner and loser in the bad weather situation?

1. My friends in Mahoning County say there was a line at 8am today
to vote early at the BOE. Youngstown area expecting ice and snow tomorrow, but they are bracing for a large turnout.

2. Generally speaking Obama
1) He is assumed to have done better in early voting

2) A substantial majority of democrats intending to vote tomorrow believe that Obama is going to be the nominee (including 1/3 of HRC supporters). It is generally assumed that you have a higher likelyhood of voting if you think that your candidate is going to win.

3. Did they have early voting in Ohio?
I saw a lot of post about early voting in Tx but not a single one about Ohio. Maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention.

6. yes and Obama was all over it like, well never mind
I read one news account that after a big rally in Cleveland (?) they stopped the rally and took the crowed outside - where there were buses to take the people directly to the early election office. lol

4. OK, So I saw an earlier post with this same question
For tomorrow: it means NOTHING. It means jackshit, nada, don't matter.

What you are seeing in this contest in intensity. People show up to vote and people lean one way or the other when they are intense about their feelings, reactions and rationale analyses of the candidates.

It's going to be a long nite in Ohio, since our current SOS has re-instituted paper ballots and antiquated scanning technology. Why she couldn't wait till the general election when workers had more training under their belts, for the touch screens (which are popular with the public) to finally normalize, just beats the hell out of me.

Meanwhile, the Lottery is gearing up touchscreen games, to "balance the fucking ohio budget" here. It's retarded.
