I don't learn anything here anymore.

I often come to DU to learn things. To find out what is going on in the world and in politics. In the past, DU has given me good, solid information, excellent cites to excellent sources. I have trusted the information I have found here.

Perhaps the other major thing that has been lost in the last several weeks...besides civility...is that trust that discussions here are rational and fact based. There is hardly a post on GD-P that I look at now which gives me any confidence that the information presented is balanced, reliable.

I hope that this is a temporary situation because if it is not, this website will have lost its most valuable asset.

11. It's Been That Way For Weeks Now.

That's why I'm just here for playtime. There hasn't been much of value here in a while now. But LBN and GD are still chock full of goodies.

It's time for everyone who is not a billionaire to stop spending money on idiotic materials.

We are entering into economic and social disaster.

Another thing to learn is that we should have been spending the last two decades stocking up on things that we need, like clothing, medical and emergency supplies. And that the past two years or more, we should have been stocking up on food and water.

ON EDIT:

Do everything you can to prevent being one of the two our of three people in our nation who has a chronic disease. Eat healthy, exercise, and keep your mind active.
