RNC files FEC "credible 527 complaint", asks dismissal as not credible, so |
|
it can then go to court and get a right wing judge to rule that it is a credible complaint?
And these are the adults - the honest folks - the straight arrows - the folks the media finds "credible"?
:-)
From The ABCNOTE:
The Republican National Committee will file an emergency complaint with the Federal Election Commission but urge the commission to quickly dismiss the complaint. The tactic would allow the RNC to seek more immediate relief from a federal judge, who could shut down the Democratic groups...We spoke with a half dozen campaign finance experts yesterday -- several sympathetic to the cause of the Republicans -- and they uniformly doubted that the FEC would ever agree to dismiss a bonafide complaint so quickly.

2. Someone there needs to realize... |

...that tactics like these just make people like me more determined to use all peaceful means to completely destroy the Republican Party. I remember the storming of the courthouse where the recount was happening just about every dirty trick I come up with. Maybe I should get that one picture tatooed on my arm so I don't forget. They have this hubris, this dumb-ass mentality that all they need to do is impose and there will be no resistance (example: Iraq) that will probably eventually be their undoing.
