because the repukes are gonna hammer that they added 300 thou jobs in March. (of course they won't include the folks returning to work from the grocery strike in CA.) Any other strikes out there now that will help Bush in April...Nope! So expect April to be far worse than March.

Read this piece from CNN and laugh out loud how they got to 300 thou....

3. Kerry needs to use large numbers.....
like thousands...thousands. People understand thousands of jobs lost. Using the decimal (5.7) system does not relate to most people. People relate to gas up at $2.34 a gallon, but not to gas up by 1.0%.

5. Very good point, Lips
The difference between, say 5.0% and 5.7% may not sound very significant to many, but apply the percentage difference to hundreds of millions of people and they will get the picture.

6. Unemployment can be a very local phenomenon
and here in Oregon we are certainly suffering.

That's why I'm glad we're one of the 17 states that's getting this new ad:

"The 30-second spot will run in 17 states beginning today: Maine, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Iowa, New Mexico, Oregon, Wisconsin, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, Nevada, West Virginia, Arizona, Arkansas, Washington and Ohio."
