3. I think it's hilarious
how repubs think the mainstream media is liberal and dems think it is conservative. It can't consistently be both ways. Did you ever think that they just report the news? Sometimes the news is bad for repubs and sometimes it is bad for dems and that's all there is too it. I admit some reporters have their own particular bias, for instance Katie Couric seems pretty liberal to me, I'm sure there are others on both sides, but I basically think the mainstream media just reports the news, and I know I'm going to get slammed if people bother to read this, but that's what I think.

6. I took it for granted we were throwing Fox News
out of the mainstream. Maybe shouldn't have done that. Other than Fox News I think everyone just reports the news

9. Why Would You Take That For Granted?
That's absurd! Fox unfortunately is a major part of the right-wing smear apparatus and a huge part of the problem. That's like saying "Well, a filled swimming pool is really dry, that is, if you take it for granted we're not counting the water".

And you think EVERYONE else just reports the news? Have you ever seen a copy of the Washington Times? Watched Wolfe Blitzer? Rush Limbaugh? Etc...The outlets that actually do report the news somewhat objectively are NOT liberal outlets, they're OBJECTIVE outlets. The right-wing has a well established echo-smear-apparatus set up. There's no such apparatus on the Left, at least not until fairly recently. You seem quite naive to me...
