Just saw Dennis Kucinich in Boone, NC
He spoke to about 200 people at about 7:45 am. It is a cold and rainy morning here in the mountains of NC.

It was an impressive turnout.

Kucinich said he understands Senator Kerry has the delegates to win the nomination. "I can count"

Kucinich said he is staying in the race to change the direction of the Democratic party.

2. Good for him...
I like Dennis well enough even if I don't agree with him on many issues but it's good to see him out there representing a part of the Democratic party that wouldn't have an active voice without him.

Still would love NC to go for Edwards and give Edwards a second state. Kerry already has the nomination so what harm does it do to give Dennis some delegates and give the state to Edwards?

Gives them both some more delegates at convention.

3. Thanks for posting
That does sound like a good turnout. Especially considering how early it was, and the weather being bad, and the nominee being already known.

I'm so happy DK is still standing up for us! :)

8. I'm pleased that he can count. Whether he can think is an open question.
Anybody who gives a shit about his country more than his own (highly inflated view) of himself, would be out working for Kerry right now.

I have spent the entire campaign thinking that Kucinich was a self-serving self-absorbed mystic asshole. Every day his persists in this embarrassing mimicry of Alan Keyes confirms it.

11. our *friend* in the above post
is and always has been a vociferous DK hater...have no idea why...don't really care why...proabably no real reason...at any rate...not worth your time for a response. Some people just don't know when to keep their lips zipped....
