I hated Jimmy Carter so much in 1980, I ran Teddy Kennedy's campaign in Pennsylvania. When Teddy lost, I went over to Anderson and worked for him and THAT WAS THE DUMBEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE IN MY LIFE. Backing Anderson to bring Carter down brought 8 years of President Pruneface and 4 of Old Fart Bush.

I try and remember that, but I have to say that Clinton's negative campaigning and mudslinging keeps touching raw nerves in me.

Rather than running on her own strengths, she and her campaign staff made the conscious decision to do whatever they could to make Obama unelectable.
