Will anyone announce a VP before the convention, in an effort to break this open? |
|
Does anyone think there's an impetus for Hillary or Obama to announce a VP choice before the convention as a way to bust this thing open? I think it might be a bold ass move. Any precedence for such an action? Or is there some written or unwritten law that forbids this?

1. I can't see either one of them being silly enough to do it before the usual time |

Purely because things are already SO tense that even if one of them chose Jesus Christ himself, it would get ugly quick.

There's no reason either candidate couldn't announce their intended choice. The only downside is that it would send a message that no kind of deal or compromise on a unity ticket is possible.
