The Love Affair With Spin

Here we are a day after the election, and what do we see other than a shameful and disgusting display of inaccuracies and spin by the media. Where are the headlines boasting the REALITY of last night's "winning streak", and what is this "gaining of momentum" and "winning of Texas" (when the second part of it hadn't even been counted yet) crap?? Surely people can't be so immersed and enamored with their candidate that they can't even recognize a LIE anymore when they see it? We used to be united over recognizing this B.S. when it was benefiting the right, and now half of us ignore it when it's favoring a specific Democratic candidate? What is happening here, exactly, other than the demonstration that none of us are immune to the powers of spin.
