1. One reason why Senator Obama slipped....
...because you can go to the hope well only so much.

4. The reason Obama lost Ohio he wasted all his time
in the three C's where he was already assured of the black vote, the latte crowd and the crossover Repugs. The Clinton's spent most of their time in the Southeast where the blue collar Democrats are and Hillary won 3-1.

8. Yep, while Clinton was in the poorest part of Ohio rolling out a plan
to combat poverty, Obama was having his umpteenth rally surrounded by fawning fans. The contrast was clear and it did not favor Obama.

12. The signal we got from Obama is he does not care
about SE Ohio. He has the black vote, the rich latte sipping Democrats and crossover Republicans and doesn't care about Appalachia (36% of our population lives below the poverty line, no one here to get money from I guess). Those Republicans in Cincy will go back home in the fall too.

9. As an undecided
but favoring HRC, I resent your claim that Obama is a fraud. He is playing the race as best as he can and has faults, but he's no more a fraud then any other politician. There are more progressive and liberal pols. but IMO the frauds are mostly on the R side of the isle. I don't care much for the hate and fraud stuff, issues win. stooping to rethug politics makes us no better then them.

Here, Obama showed he lacked the toughness to speak with reporters, let alone world leaders. He came off looking like a pathetic "latte liberal."

35. Actually it was refreshing. I'm sure you'd rather see the "some people say" game
continue to be the standard in the media, considering the campaign that Clinton is running.

They wanted to ask the same question over and over. They were baiting him and he didn't bite. The man is honestly smarter than any politician I've seen on the stage in my entire lifetime.

16. Interesting.
But the bottom line is Obama is a novice,Hillary is not.

He made mistakes but she outsmarted him all the way around.She's a stronger Candidate.Her wins and how she got those wins proves that.Credit has to go to Hillary for this,especially since He outspent her in every State.

That's the second time the "biased" media has tried to exaggerate the results.

If that's your idea of him falling then I can't wait to have him in the oval office since he obviously wins when he "loses".

Clinton, not so much.

Barack Obama’s comprehensive technology and innovation plan will:

• Ensure the full and free exchange of information among Americans through an open Internet and
diverse media outlets.
• Create a transparent and connected democracy.
• Encourage the deployment of a modern communications infrastructure.
• Employ technology and innovation to solve our nation’s most pressing problems, including reducing
the costs of health care, encouraging the development of new clean energy sources, and improving
public safety.
• Improve America’s competitiveness.

=============================================================================

http://www.openleft.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=2369

Today, Obama is throwing down the gauntlet on internet freedom, telecom lobbyists, and on opening up government in general to the public. It's some genuinely radical stuff, and it includes the use of blogs, wikis, and openness in government hearings.

----

And then of course there is spectrum and net neutrality. Both Edwards and Obama have made it clear they will break the power of the wireless gatekeepers, the telecom lobbyists who gut our laws, and the Comcast traffic shaping tyrants. Clinton, though, has been a noted absence in the debate about spectrum, mumbling about it incoherently at Yearlykos, and her plan for broadband was written by the telcos and doesn't include net neutrality. She still hasn't come out clearly on retroactive immunity, as her campaign's ties to telecom lobbyists are not trivial, and it looks from her possible FCC choices that her administration would be a continuation of the Clinton-Bush years of media and telecom deregulation.

Where are Clinton's tax returns? Where are her first lady papers? Where is the library donor list? WHAT IS SHE HIDING and why will she go to such drastic lengths to make sure it stays hidden?
