Hold everything!!!! Obama actually wins Texas!!!!!!!!!
While he lost the Primary by something like 100,000 votes and something like six delegates. He is actually winning the caucus pretty handidly where there are another 67 delegates at play and where he is winning 56% overall.

But if you look at by each Senate district,. It appers he is going to win about 40 to 27 and thus making hima the overall all winner in Texas by about 7 delegates or so.

Since Febrarury 15the however on the Super Delegate side, Obama has netted 37 delegates. So in spite this so called momentum, where it ultimately matters: Delegates (according to Terry McCauliffe and Mark Penn and Howard Wolfson and Harold Ickes), Hillary Clinton has actually fallen farther behind!

On February 15th Obama had 1192 Pledged and 161 Super Delegates Thatis i,353
Clinton had 1033 and 241 That is 1,274

So Clinton was 79 behind

When all is said and done after they count Texas

Obama will hav 1,379 Pledged and 200 Super Delegates That is 1,579

Clinton will have 1,232 pledged and 241 Super Delegates, 1,473

Clinton is now 106 behind.

23. The winner should have been declared after the final results came in

It's a two-step process. If Obama wins the caucus and the majority of delegates, then he won TX.

12. In my precinct (suburban houston)
I was one of the precinct captains for Brazoria County Precinct 58 (highly populated - south of Houston) we won on the general and blew Hillary out of the water at caucus. We all worked very pleasantly together (this is the suburbs after all), but the math was clearly in Obama's favor by a landslide. We are sending 31 Obama delegates and 10 Clinton delegates to our senate district. At that point they narrow it down further, and when we go to Denver this senate district will have approx. 4 delegates for Obama and 1 for Hillary (that's out of the total 228).

I have really learned alot about caucus this week. I do believe Obama will do very well when the numbers are released today/tomorrow. Obama really DID win Texas, despite what Hillary and her press believe.

32. We won daytime too -
Just my precinct (Brazoria 58 - not the entire county).

I actually stood behind a 72-year old white woman in the caucus who claimed she wanted McCain to win, but would accept Obama if it came to that (her words). She didn't want Hillary so she came to support Obama. But I've heard it both ways from the repubs around here - some voted for Obama because they thought he would be the easier one to beat, others felt that way about Hillary.

Brazoria county is traditionally very republican but there are new subdivisions (where I live) which have attracted diverse professionals. We are not too far from Medical Center in Houston so that is why the county is changing.

17. PV winnerswill be forgottern as soon at Mississippi and Wyoming vote
and Obama catches Clinton on Super Delegates.

I would be more concerned if PA was in a week but is it 7 weeks away. momentum requries proximity. mini super Tuesday will be forgotten in a couple of weeks.

I suspect Hillary will win PA but big deal it will only be a net gain of 10 delegates.

When you compile votes electronically, Hillary wins. Curious.

p.s. remember those huge lines waiting hours to vote for Kerry? Ever wonder what happened to all those votes?
