"Morning Joe" doing it's best to regurgitate Whitewater/Travel Office Firings
and David Shuster is bringing it up reminding everyone he covered Whitewater and says that Hillary hasn't released her grand jury testimony.

Then they break to an interview with Obama Campaign Manager David Plough who says Clinton Administration is the most Secretive in History. (Ummm what about the one that's squatting in the White House these days?)

Seems Shuster is now the MSNBC attack dog against Hillary and that the strategy is to bring up Whitewater and pretend that the most comprehensive Witch Hunt Investigation "in history" wasn't complete enough for them. Meanwhile: "What about Bush/Cheney Crimes that can't be investigated."

This is dirty stuff ...and I'm wondering if it's Shuster's anger at Clintons for his firing...or Obama's Campaign putting out the word to go after Hillary to diffuse Rezko case. Probably some of both.

2. Whitewater never went anywhere and Joe knows it
Understand this, the MSM hates both Democratic candidates and will do and or say anything to keep either one from getting elected. The fawning over Mccain is about to commence

28. It went nowhere because Hillary "lost her paperwork"

And couldn't remember 15 meetings she had. Hillary decided to play dirty
and now all of her dirt is about to come out.

33. And that message was: Negative Works!
I still want to know how old Hill made a killing in cattle futures. You know so that us little people that she wants to fight for can turn $1000 into $100,000 in a month like she did.

And I'd sure like to know more about the Christian group in the U.S. Senate that she belongs to along with Brownback, Inhofe, Coburn and that once included Santorum and George Allen.

Fightin' words are cheap ... old Hill's "experience" when she was in the White House tell the real tale.

And just how close was she to being indicted anyway?

4. Probably has something to do with the Clinton campaign
making an obvious attempt at a smear campaign. Isn't this kind of stuff what they want? Because this is where these things normally go with a lot of back and forth while republicans will sit back and arm.

5. Bring It
The Clintons are strongest when they are under attack-see impeachment-they are like bees when stirred....

Maybe they will bring up her alleged lesbian affair with Huma Abedin:

This will help her with 18 to 30 year old males...

She can ride this to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue...

6. Team Obama better really think through if they want to officially climb into bed with Whitewater
The surrogates have been doing it from day one, which is bad enough, but to officially embrace that tactic will probably back-fire.

9. I agree. they should steer clear of Whtiewater
better to stick with Hsu, Gupta, Giustra and her reluctance to release phone records and her income tax returns.

17. From a purely political standpoint you are correct
Still, I think he runs a risk becoming involved in this sort of thing. At this point a major defining point between the two candidates is the perception that he has not gone negative. Take that away and I'm not sure he really comes out ahead. Hard to say for sure.

I agree, they should steer clear, but going after 'tax returns' will just make them look desperate. Ever thought about running on policy? Just a thought...

There's nothing wrong with asking for tax returns. How is that desperate? It
just shows that the Clintons have a lot to hide.

He's trying to get even for his 2 week suspension I'm sure.

ETA This time he can officially go after Hillary so he looks "nicer". Going after Hillary is MO for MSNBC and Shuster is on board.

36. do we use it where our 'sons' are concerned? SEXISM!!!!!
Equality is not treating women differently than men in ways just like this. :grr:

I as a woman rasing sons without a father- am MUCH more in tune to the overt sexism against young men- a sexism that has BRED the 'macho' dominant male attitude that is evident in statements just like yours.

SEXISM!

We don't use the word pimp where our American daughters are concerned and he well knew that.

13. Investigation concluded Hillary made false statements
"In 2000 Independent Counsel Robert Ray issued his final report on Travelgate, stating that Hillary Clinton had made factually false statements but saying there was insufficient evidence to prosecute her."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travelgate

You should read up on the incident. What she did was rather ugly.

She keeps pushing Rezko Land deals. She has bad land deals too.
But we do need to focus on the present. Peter Paul, Norman Hsu Etc. We don't have to go back to ancient history that is whitewater except to show yeah the Clinton's make bad investments too or just shear hypocrisy,

20. It takes a year to release a tax return???
What's her problem with the 2006 tax return? She wants the public to think she is releasing the current 2007 return 'sometime around' April 15th. Not at all. It's the 2006 return she refuses to make public. Hillary has enough baggage to sink a ship without having to even mention Whitewater.

I'd be satisfied if someone would hold her feet to the fire about what the hell her 35 yrs of experience is! She gets by with murder.
