1. I would laugh my fool head off if that happened....
But it's not going to.

Although, I could see her becoming Lieberman-esque when this thing is over.

2. Clinton is a Dem, no matter how some people on here paint her
And, I sincerely that if in an alternate reality HRC wanted to do this, that the RNC would go along with it. She is a DEMOCRAT.

UGH.

3. that would never happen
for several reasons.

The republicans hate Hillary, most of McCain's November votes will come from Hillary-hating repukes.
I also hope that she'd never go over to the repuke side.

4. Fantasy....

Even IF McCain tapped her, why would a politician almost universally reviled by the Republican party cut her own throat by leaving the party that supports her and joining the party that hates her?

She'd kill herself politically as a Dem and she'd have no chance of support from the Repubs.

5. I can't see it
The Freeper wing of the GOP already thinks McCain is a closet Democrat. A McCain/Clinton ticket would have them staying home in droves. I think he'll pick a VP to the right of him, to reassure the conservatives.

7. Umm.. No.
I really think McCain is trying to make friends & bridge the gap with the bible thumping conservative voters that he needs to get to vote for him in November. That would NOT do anything for him.. and wouldn't bring anything new to the table.

If he wants to put a woman on his ticket, he'll look to Condi Rice. Politically, Gender wise & Racially, it would make much more sense for him.

10. About as likely as a McCain/Obama ticket. HRC & Obama are both Dems
and not very far apart on the issues either. Sigh.

15. Remember when there was the rumor of a Kerry/McCain Ticket?
McCain said he was flattered, but he was a Republican. To expect Clinton to say anything different or to expect McCain to even offer is ridiculous.
