There are two main rules in the world of KKKarl Rove political theater |
|
1. Attack your opponent's strengths. 2. Attack your opponent for your own weakness.
This is the poison in our system.
Example:
1. Hillary was getting beaten up on her support of NAFTA
2. Ohio has been one of the biggest losers from NAFTA
3. Ohio was the must win state for Hillary
4. Just before the Ohio primary...what's this?...an Obama campaign that is full speed ahead for victory get tagged by Canadian operatives on NAFTA....WHO WOULDA THUNK IT???
The Bush's have adopted the Clintons. The CLintons have adopted the Bush/Rove strategies. The Clintons are far more close with the reich wing than with the left wing. Why they continue to call themselves Democrats is very puzzling. And I thought I disliked Joe Lieberman.

Rovian attack the strength tactics. Even if it's Clinton, rather than the GOP taking pages out of Rove's playbook.
Obama's a powerful orator, capable of inspiring people in ways few could.
Throw the Rove spin on this, and all of the sudden, he's a cult leader capable of getting thousands to drink his Kool-Aid.
