If Kerry wants to take advance of the gender gap
He'd better bring up the danger of Bush packing the Supreme Court. Bush has been merrily loading up the lower courts with anti-choice/anti-civil rights types, and this is just a preview of
"The big ma-moo" - The Supreme Court. Kerry needs to expose
this "W is for Women" horseshit that Bushco uses to make themselves seem like champions for women's rights. It will be unforgivable if Kerry avoids talking about this.

1. Women's rights
The fact is that women in my eyes are equal in all aspects of society, but when they are expressing their views through the vagina monologues. though i consider it an important issue of the campaign, very important, unfortunately it will be clouded by the war

2. John Kerry often talks about this
Edited on Mon Apr-05-04 01:13 AM by JI7
he said if he is elected he will only nominate justices to the supreme court who support roe v wade. he also promises to filibuster and vote against any justice who oppose roe v wade as a senator. one of the first things if elected he said he will do involves woman and choice.

5. what do you mean, "even" went back to the senate? that's his job
he was elected to be a senator. he doesn't deserve any slack for being a candidate, nor extra credit for doing the job he was elected to do.

7. his job is more than just voting
and right now his #1 job is being presidential candidate and trying to win the election. and i do give him slack, in fact i expect him to make winning the election his #1 priority before being senator.

3. Kerry needs to show this picture over and over
Of Bush flanked by nine men and no women, celebrating the signing of "Partial Birth Abortion" Ban into law. It is a stark reminder that the biggest advocates of restricting a woman's right to choose are a bunch of crusty old Republican men.

6. a picture worth 1000 words
an ignorant man surrounded by arrogant men, joyously signing a bill that takes away the rights of women.
