Dean wants re-vote but only if states pay,MAKE THE CANDIDATES PAY |
|
They both have obscene amounts of donations.I read that the cost may be $4 million per state. Thats peanuts to the candidates.

1. Make Clinton pay then. What advantage is to Obama to pay for this? |
|
He didn't cause it and the states knew the rules well in advance.

5. The states did this to themselves |
|
Michigan will have caucuses, because it is cheaper. Florida can, too.

6. Crist says it'll cost FL $25 million. |
|
And why the hell should the candidates pay?! These states wanted to give the DNC a big fuck you. So they got what they gave. End of story.

9. Make it a mail-in in FL and raise the funds on the net |
|
Should be alot cheaper to have a mail-in primary. Should be enough interest to pay for it on the net, I would think.

Those states broke the rules. They knew they were breaking the rules. They can pay the cost themselves if they really care.

13. The candidates cant pay the bill without being accused of buying the vote. |
|
It is impossible!
The states need to pay for it or the DNC needs to pay only for a much cheaper caucus.
Overall tho I am getting tired of FL's bullshit. They need to pay or make a deal to have the DNC pay for a caucus or just accept 50/50.
They cheated and are getting more attention then they could possibly deserve. In 2012 at this rate we will see 5-10 states voting early to become news states later in the campaign when they demand to have the revotes for free.

14. If the state democratic parties pay, |
|
won't that take money out of the GE coffers?
I'm less worried about Michigan, but Florida's been such a squeaker in the last few elections that I'd hate to cripple an already ailing democratic party down there. :(
