Does Hillary Clinton hate Obama supporters?
Edited on Thu Mar-06-08 06:24 PM by TwoSparkles
Hillary Clinton is being so outlandish--disparaging Obama by propping up McCain.

This is totally unprecedented in American politics. Never has a Democratic candidate
pitted herself and the Republican nominee against a fellow Democrat.

She insults Obama supporters at every turn, when she mocks Obama's "empty speeches" and
positions all of us as dolts who are only mesmerized by his words. I'm a 43-year old
mother of two children. My support for Obama is based on his sound judgment, his status
as a "Constitutional Scholar" and his commitment to end illegal wiretaps, close Guantanamo,
reinstate Habeas Corpus and restore Constitutional order to our government.

I'm sick to death of Hillary Clinton insulting Obama's supporters and attacking so viciously--with
such reckless disregard or respect for Obama supporters; or concern about how her slash-and-burn tactics
affect them.

I'm also tired of her insulting individual states--and the people of those states. She tried to
pull this in my state of Iowa. When she began tanking in the Iowa polls, she pointed out that
she might not do so well in Iowa, because we haven't ever elected a woman to Congress! She had
no problem insulting the citizens of Iowa and practically accusing us of being misogynists--as long
as it propped her up a bit. Now she's doing the same thing to Mississippi! Look at how they
disparaged South Carolina with Bill's, "So what...Jesse Jackson won here too" comment.

We all understand that she must run a campaign and sometimes these contests get rough. However,
she is behaving like a human lawn mower--chewing up everything in her path.

This is not healthy campaign where the candidates go after each other on policy and position. This is like
watching a political vivisection.

I am so thoroughly disgusted with Hillary Clinton's sociopathic actions that I really don't know if I
could vote for her. I wouldn't be motivated to vote for her, that's for sure. I've never missed a
chance to vote Democrat and I've been a proud Democrat my entire life, but Hillary's campaign is
souring me on the idea of supporting her AT ALL.

Does she even care how her tactics affect millions of Democrats who support Obama--in every state in
this nation?

36. Wonder how long it took Hillary to retouch Obama's face in her last TV ad...
...in order to make him look five shades darker-skinned and his nose wider, therefore more "Negro-looking" to the older moderates waiting to vote in those liberal bastions of Wyoming and Mississippi?

Yeah, now there's a campaign with a hope-filled message: "Fear the GOP, but fear a Black man more. Especially at 3:00 am when you're in bed."

After all... we're deluded latte-sipping, prius-driving, birkenstock wearing, trust-fund babies.

She'll expect our vote come November though. No doubt about that.

5. No, but I could be convinced to.
There are jackass Hillary supporters as well, as has been amply demonstrated in this very forum. But for sheer asshole fuckwaddery, the pendulum has swung to the Obama side of the argument. And it ain't particularly close.
All in all, it has made it extremely easy to maintain my support of John Edwards.

Edited on Thu Mar-06-08 06:26 PM by DJ13
I may vote for her in the GE (but at this point I doubt it), but I will no longer consider the Democratic Party my Party if they willingly throw away the increased Dem base Obama has created.

It will prove that we still havent broken the good old boys (girls now too) network of Democrat DC insiders that are indistinguishable from Republicans on too many issues.

And I doubt that many of the new voters that Obama brought into the Party will remain Democrats either.

If the attitude she's displayed to those who disagree with her during this campaign is an indication of her foreign policy approach, I shudder at the thought of her becoming president. :scared:

More of the same is exactly what we don't need.

which is really ignorant on her part. If she is nominated, she'll say some lovely speech about how the party should now unite and she loves us all. Yeah, right. the Obama people will either hold their noses and vote for her, vote for another party (like me), or not vote at all. Say half or even 2/3 of the Obama people vote for her, she'd be losing a lot of votes which could lose her the GE.

*edit* thinking on the last statement, pretty silly really because the hillary suporters are probably thinking the same thing if Obama gets nominated. Maybe the candidates need to stop, take stock and just stick to the issues.

Just admit it, your obsessed with hating the Clinton Family, you will do or say anything to further that hate, and you choose to air it publicly.

And, yes, Hillary not only disparages Obama, but she also disparages his supporters.

And as for the Hillary supporters here, this election has made me ill reading all of the insults and name calling and the instructions to "grow up" and "don't be so childish" that come from camp Hillary.

32. She must have bought out W's voting machines.
She seems to think she can be president without half the old democrats, a much smaller fraction of the newly registered democrats, and no independents whatsoever. That McCain and Me, we're tough and Obama had a speech six years ago is just off the chart insulting. I can't believe how disgusted I have become since Monday. Souring is a good way to describe that feeling TwoSparkles.

I am dismayed by her behavior. She is my senator and I have voted for her every time I've had the opportunity, but f I hear her endorse John McCain one more time...she's going to lose me. My post was not about what I actually think about voting machines, it was about how alienating I find her behavior.

Edit for grammar.
