would undermine any other Dem candidate or nominee and the benefit of the doubt was always granted to the Clintons and their roles in the 2000 and 2004 elections.
The difference now is that Hillary2008 came out from under their rock and the Clintons are forced into attacking the other Dem OPENLY and people are seeing firsthand how loathe they are to give up any power in the party. They are undermining both the soon-to-be nominee AND the party chair......and everyone can see it.

8. You weren't one of those undermining and sabotaging other Democrats, though. |
|
Gore and Kerry were treated behind the scenes by Clinton and their loyalist operatives the same way Obama is being undermined now. Dishonestly and with malice to prevent any other Democrat from taking the reins of the party.

9. Good. Time to retake the news cycles. |
|
Clinton's spent far too much time getting all the press.
It's time for Obama and his staff to start dominating the media.

Charlie gave Obama a chance to answer charges directly about what happened Tuesday and what HRC's doing now. "They believe life begins when you arrive in Washington," he said of HRC and McCain. He's going to be more focused on answering every charge and turning some back on them, like the issue of transparency.
And the depiction of HRC which preceded the interview wasn't exactly flattering--talking about how she wants to change the rules and wants no re-vote and no caucuses, then stating that Obama is willing to follow whatever rules they decide on.
Great coverage for Obama, not so good for HRC. Because they simply told the truth about her. And him.
