The cash register rings when you advance to each item--a very nice touch!

3. That's fantastic
I love the teacher-calmly-explaining theme. It's very effective.

4. one thing I would have liked to have seen
was the lie about the Medicare cost. Like have the kid say, "No the Medicare is only $$$$"...."No George, its $616 billion"

but I guess that could be used in another add.

5. I would have liked to see
Kerry's budget as contrasted with Bush's. If Kerry allows the government to negotiate drug prices, his budget would look much more friendly than Bush's.

7. Great ad, but
Cheney was correct when he said the deficit is a secondary issue--unfortunately. Reagan did prove that.

8. But the deficit
is what got Clinton into the White House

Ross Perot was all over TV with his charts showing how our grandchildren would have to pay for the deficit

And Bill Clinton was good at explaining how the interest on the deficit just made our situation worse

Of course, Nader may do for Bush in 04 what Nader did for Bush in 00.

Maybe the Dems should finance Perot the way the Republicans are financing Nader.

13. You mean, "Reagan proved that deficits don't matter"?
Oh, they matter all right. All Reagan proved was that conservatives don't care.

14. Debt was at a MUCH lower level when Reagan took office.
Japan, Germany, and France have proven that countries with massive debt loads have a hard time growing. Brazil and Argentina prove that once you get debt service, a function of total debt, too high, you go under.

9. I think this will be very effective at reaching the voter
who is not paying much attention, and there are a LOT of them. Inexpensive, simple, very well-conceived ad!

10. Great ad, but where is the
"I'm John Kerry, and I approve this message?"

Isn't that required by campaign finance law now?
