Anyone else gotten this Repuke email yet? Kerry-man of the common folk?
Fw: Kerry -- man of the common folk???
Only $30 Million left in houses after he sold the big one.
How could he be more a common folk?

Subject: John Kerry, man of the common folk.... he understands your pain, really... trust him - lol, yeah - right

The many homes of Democrat Presidential candiate, John F. Kerry.
Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania (Assessed value: $3.7 million)

Ketchum, Idaho ski getaway/vacation home (Assessed value: $4.916 million)

Washington, D.C - Georgetown area (assessment: $4.7 million)

Nantucket, Massachusetts waterfront retreat on Brant Point (Assessed value: $9.18 million)

Boston, Massachusetts - Beacon Hill home (Assessed value: $6.9)

oh, and he sold this estate in Italy to activist actor George Clooney, just before announcing his running for president. I guess he thought it might not sit well with the common man. ($7.8 million)

other foreign property ownership by John Kerry is unknown... because he denied repeated requests for this information.

Please e-mail this information to all your friends, family and contacts.

Class warfare is not right, but neither is being a hypocrite. This man wants to be our president, while claiming that he relates to Joe-6-pack and the common man. He wants to raise income taxes on the rich, well, guess what? He won't pay those taxes because he is already rich! He wants to make it harder for you to get rich by raising taxes on your income! Talk about snobbery and protecting his "class."

_________________________________________________________

This last paragraph is really a trip...they're actally admittin' that the rich don't pay their fair share o'taxes?!

.....and the confusion still abounds with the line there too about how you'll be RICH if you don't pay any taxes...sigh! :eyes:

Member of Skull and Bones......

And I'm sure he's declining to take adavantage of all the rich folks tax breaks he's passed over the last 3 years.....

2. Snopes
http://www.snopes.com/politics/kerry/homes.asp

Although it's no secret JK and THK are wealthy, many of these homes are her assets alone (they kept premarital assets separate), and the Italy estate was owned by one of Theresa's relatives-by-marriage, not by her and not by JK.

4. Like how Clinton did during the Unity Rally
I thought that was hysterical--he said it was the first time they valued him, because he was Rich.

Edwards repeated the theme as well.

John Kerry never claimed to be working class. That doesn't mean he doesn't understand that poor people exist and have needs that he doesn't have to worry about. He, like several other wealthy people I know, appreciates that he is rich and that they are priveledged and that not everybody else is. William Gates (Bill Gate's dad) promotes an organization you can check out at www.responsiblewealth.com. Anyone who doesn't understand both the social and serendipitous elements of wealth doesn't deserve a dime.

5. yes, Kerry does do it, says him and Teresa do not need a tax cut
and you are right about kerry not claiming to be just like everyone else. in fact he is pretty open about his how he had special opportunities growing up that most people do not get. he is very open about where he comes from and what he has. the difference between bush and kerry is kerry doesn't claim to be like others, yet listens and tries to do things to help all people. bush claims to be like everyone else while ripping them off .

6. Franklin Delano Roosevelt
one of the most successful presidents in terms of dealing with issues that affected the poor came from a wealthy family. Richard Nixon, one of the most corrupt presidents ever, was born into poverty. It is not about how much you are given in life, it's about what you do with what you have.

Kerry's wealth does not have anything to do with his ideas for the country.

1. George Washington
2. John F. Kennedy
3. John F. Kerry
When the Repukes talk about Kerry's wealth, mention that the beloved GW and JFK proceed John Kerry.
Herbert Hoover was 5th.
