If Iraq continues to be a flaming sack of dog poo and the negatives/disapproval pile up and he actually starts looking unelectable, will all these Repub yucapucks quit ponying up all that money at the fundraisers, for fear of throwing good money after bad? Or is all that money just going to keep coming, regardless?

1. indeed, some pledges may go unfulfilled
the numbers the bush campaign keeps throwing around are merely pledges. actual money usually follows, but as republicans decide recognize shrub for the loser he's always been and always will be, they may just change their minds....

3. NO
I think much of it is illegal and comes from corporations benefitting from Bushco. They will pay whatever to keep him in power. It's chump change to them. The individuals may quit donating but I think they are not most of the money.
