1. didn't attend but heard some positive reports on WPR
Kerry's prepared remarks focused on Iraq. He ignored Condi. Many questions from audience concerning jobs. One African-American attendee interviewed was disappointed that inner-city issues were overlooked but responded well to criticism of other * policies.

2. The problem with any disappointment was
There wasn't a whole ton of people asking questions. Everyone got a shot but there weren't hands en masse going up especially from any African-American leaders there. I was there, worked the event. George McGovern's daughter stood up and asked about Foreign Policy and Environmental Policy, most questions were job related and that was fair considering that the town hall's basic premise was about Fiscal Responsibility.

Anyone who was disappointed should have had their hands up and worked harder to be heard because it never appeared to me that Kerry ducked anyone.

3. This was my first time seeing Kerry
So i was just thrilled to be there. He shook my hand and took a picture with me. He was in a big hurry, so didn't have alot of time to stand around and talk. His speech was great and his personality really came through. What struck me is the painful honesty that came out in his voice. He really wants to help us. I left more pumped up then ever to work hard on this campaign.

P.s Thanks again MessiahRP for the pin and letting me use your camera for my picture. :yourock:
