31. Politico has it. The caucus times are staggered in various counties.
Here's a good run-down-
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/3/8/61411/81462/867/472032

Politico numbers are in the comments. And I like this one-

Albany County checking in!!!! (0 / 0)
It's NUTS here in Laramie. We had to vote in waves because the auditorium can't handle everyone. I'm disabled but still had to park 5 blocks away. They were supposed to announce a number but I left at 10:30 and they hadn't announced yet. They were registering people who were in line by 9 AM and some people said they were still checking people in at 10:15. I don't know if that's true or not. Someone whose opinion I respect estimated 3000 were there. (In 2004, we had maybe 50.) At least in the first wave, judging from the cheers for the nominators, Obama was getting about 75% or more of the votes.

I may go back after lunch for the platform work. They will be taking a new quorum at that point because they realize that lots of people were going to leave after voting.

We did away with the 15% viability threshold and, for the first time in my WY caucusing experience, had written ballots. They were worried about running out of them.

I ran into 4 friends who have never caucused before. It's crazy and exciting in WY today!!!! YAY for us.

Cool, huh? I live in Seattle but went to volunteer in TX last week and that same phenom -Election Excitement- is a real joy to behold. We focused on educating known O supporters about the caucus there. Ended up with numbers so large that the buildings didn't hold them. Folks signed in by flashlight in parking lots. At the precinct where I was at on the day of, three different men, after voting, showed up at FIVE pm to stand in line to caucus, "just in case". We assured them that they could come back later because anyone in line at seven had to be allowed a voice. Still brings tears to my eyes.

Interesting times.

I mean, any state that doesn't vote for Dems in a presidential election voids their voice in the primaries. Speaking of which, how is that Texas win going? Do they ever vote for a Democrat in the presidential elections?

100. Wyoming has Democrats, which the DNC had chosen for a long time to ignore.
My cousin and her entire family are Dems out there and very active ones in their community. For years now, they have told me about how the Democrats in that state could get to help from the national party during election years. This is why the 50 state strategy is important. You can't just ignore everyone because you have clusters of people in large urban centers. Either the Democratic Party is available to all states or it becomes an exclusive country club--the party that Clinton wants.

http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/states/WY.html

"The first step of Wyoming’s delegate selection process is a county caucus/convention March 8 in each of the state’s 23 counties. Participation in Wyoming’s delegate selection process is open to all voters who wish to participate as Democrats. All persons residing in the county and registered to vote as Democrats at least 15 days prior to the county caucus/convention may vote at the county caucus/convention and be elected as delegates to the state and national conventions. District-level delegates will be allocated to presidential preference through a proportional representation system based on the presidential preference vote at the county caucus/conventions. The state convention will be held May 24. State delegates will meet in presidential preference caucuses and cast ballots to elect district-level national delegates."

Every state seems to be having record numbers of voters so far. So we may not know anything real until tomorrow.

It is good to see people getting out to vote tho. I have heard that many places in the past rarely had more than 10 people.

70. BETTER NEWS: Cheyenne, Laramie and Casper yet to report. Read this first person Laramie post on kos:
Albany County checking in!!!! (22+ / 0-)

YAY for us.

82. It appears it will be an uphill battle to get to 65%.
However, the Obama strongholds haven't reported yet, so ya' neve know.

If his strongholds have not reported yet and he is already up close to 20 points.
