Obama won the Idaho caucus 79-17, A 60-40 split is a big improvement for Hillary in Wyoming
Limiting Obama's margin to under 62.5% limits the delegate split he will get to 3 or 4 from 7 or 8 if he was over 62.5%.

All this shows is that with a minimal allocation of resources and acknowledging a state exists by visiting it and asking for their votes, she would have substanitally decreased Obama's caucus margins.

At any rate, Wyoming or Mississippi don't matter because no democrat will win it in November. John Edwards called Obama a p***y in private conversations and we can see what happened to him in Ohio and Texas to see why.

If he can't out fight Hillary Clinton and win in the big states upcoming, the superdelegates are not going to vote for him.

Wyoming is shaped nice. It looks nice and tidy.

Mississippi is shaped really weird, though. Mississippi shouldn't count.

I guess a Hillary supporter needs to see something good after losing 13 of 16 by margins that average greater than 30%.

13. Ohio will not go red if Hillary is the nominee
She has Strickland and the white working class vote.

Obama will lose the white working class vote to McCain. Ohio is a racist state and won't vote for a black candidate. That's the reality of the world in 2008. Obama has a better shot in 2016 after 8 years as VP to give him more experience and 8 more years means more of those old hard core racists will die off and more younger people who are open minded will become of age to vote.

4. So Clinton says WY & MS don't matter. Why should Super Delegates from those states
and all the other states that don't matter to Hillary bother moving to her camp?

What idiots Clinton and her supporters are.

And sorry if that sounds harsh, but the reality is she lost weeks ago and could only hope to win if she won over almost every super delegate.

However still worse by a bit than the primary in UT which was closer than ID (56-39).

In WY, it appears that Clinton did best in the I-80 industrial towns of Rawlins, Green River, and Rock Springs and split the vote pretty well in Casper. So the effort Clinton put in did minimize Obama's final delegate margin.

I'd be interested to see how the Native American participation went but am not holding my breath that there will be much on this.

kind of a pussy ... He has real questions about Obama's toughness, his readiness for the office ... he has real doubts about Obama, not just as a president, but as a general election candidate...."
Mark Halperin

This is curious language Based on his admission that he “was conveying other people’s words,” it seems likely that either:

1. Edwards told Halperin that he thought Obama was a pussy.
2. Someone close to Edwards told Halperin that Edwards thought Obama was a pussy.

Either way, Halperin’s “conveying other people’s words” comment makes it seem like Edwards, or someone close to him, at some point used the word pussy to describe Obama.Edwards’ possible use of the word “pussy” implies that there could be deeper, more personal reasons for him to dislike Obama.

No matter the reason, John Edwards seems hesitant to endorse Obama. The odd thing about all this is that Edwards hasn’t made any endorsement yet and the longer he waits, the less important his endorsement becomes. Edward’s time to make an impact is passing by, if it hasn’t already.

94. Edwards possible comment would be pure chutzpah
Edwards had NO more national security or foreign policy experience than Obama had. In fact, Obama has a national security credential - the bill he and Senator Lugar sponsored on non-proliferation.

Edwards was a weak VP candidate in 2004 - bringing almost nothing to the ticket. He refused to even use the campaign slogan and proudly told the media that he was not an attack dog. It takes a lot of nerve for him to suggest someone who worked as an organizer on the south side of Chicago was weak.

I wish Edwards would refute this comment - I think less of him for it - so I wish I knew it was untrue.

Obama has already won the pledged delegates.

Privately, SD's have stated they simply won't vote against the popular choice of the voters - and by most accounts, that choice is reflected in delegate counts. He is also ahead of her by over 600K nationally in the popular vote.

And as of yesterday - he picked up 10 of the 13 SD's that declared this week. On top of that - add WY to TX caucuses, and Hillary made ZERO progress to catch up to Obama in delegates - so Tuesday was a wash.

I won't diss any Hillary supporters for holding on to the last second, but we can agree to disagree on the fact Obama enters the 4th quarter with an insurmountable lead.

All Obama has to do is limit hilly to a 10 pt or less lead in PA like he did in CA, TX and OH and she's exactly where she is now- losing. He'll win MS and sorry dearie, but it counts when it comes to getting the nomination. He'll win NC which is a big state. And Obama just slapped down hilly hard- and no that's not sexist. He's beating her and he'll continue beating her and she'll be cooked by June.

establishment candidate. And not a nice man either.

70. Yes Barack Obama is the candidate who has been the number 1
Democratic Brand having occupied the Whitehouse and the Senate for all but 2 of the last 16 yearswith the most successful Dem machines since Roosevelt.

You really have to decide if he has no experience or his the candidate of the establishment Steve - you cannot have it both ways.

77. All right. Where's your evidence that the superdelegates are going to vote against him?
The SDs said time and again that the pledged delegates will be heavily, heavily considered and will not be overturned. Also, are there any trends indicating that HRC is gaining ground in superdelegates? Not really; it's more like the opposite, as has been the trend for the past month or more. Your view is wishful thinking when faced with the facts.

Same Clinton tactics: 'you democratic voters in Mississippi and Wyoming are absolutely meaningless.' What's the motivation then for the SDs in those states to go AGAINST the will of the people and FOR someone that hands out such insults?

She could win the remaining states 60/40, and get 55% of the remaining supers and STILL not have enough to get the nod.

102. Clinton:"Feb good for Obama, March good for HRC" ****Obama wins March***
Clinton:"Feb good for Obama, March good for HRC" ****Obama wins March***
The uncanny ability of the Clinton campaign to be 100% wrong on every aspect of this campaign has now been confirmed with the latest

results showing that Senator Obama has won more delegates in the months of January, February and March.

Senator Clinton's campaign spin at the end of February was that they were turning the corner. "We always knew February was gonna be

a good month for him,. . .March is gonna be a better month for us."
http://cbs4denver.com/national/democrats.hillary.clinto...

It turns out that, not surprisingly, the forecast of Clinton winning big in March was wrong - Obama won more delegates.

. . . . . . Obama . . . . Clinton

January . . . .63. . . . . . .48

February
Super Tues. 847. . . . . . 825
Rest of Feb 288. . . . . . 163.5

March . . . .209. . . . . . 206

Total. . . . 1407. . . . . .1242.5

How exactly is he self-destructing?
