Why are we fighting so hard over this big pile of steaming horseshit of a mess?

Why would any Democrat want to inherit the mess that George Bush is leaving behind? And why are the Obama and Hillary supporters going at each others throats, as if they are fighting over the Ark of the Covenant? It's not like it's something desirable that we are going to get on election day.

The person that wins the election will most likely be a 4-year martyr? There's no way in hell anyone is going to clean up this disaster in 4 short years. Maybe, like Jimmy Carter after Watergate, he/she can clean it up just enough so that the Republican asswipes can come back for another 20-25 years to steal us blind once again?

Instead of something worthy of fighting over, it probably should be like a hot potato. No, you take it! No, I don't want it, you take it! It's totally irrational to fight over something that stinks as much as this mess left behind by George W Bush and Dick Cheney.

What are they going to do about the sub-rates mortgage scandal? What are they going to do about the two wars going on in the Middle East? What are they going to do about the huge debt and deficits? What are they going to do about the shrinking dollar? What are they going to do about the hatred generated around the world by these numb nuts? What are they going to do about the division created in this country? And we want to fight each other over this? What kind of masochists are we?

But we have to understand that in the end, united we stand and divided we fall. Most politicians are in it for the power and glory. We must be in it to watch the politicians and make sure they do what we, the people, need to have done. If we destroy each other, we only make the other side stronger. I say that, knowing how strongly each side feels about their favorite candidate. We have to be stronger than they are.

20. I heard an interview with an economist (Williams?) state that the U.S. is

headed for a depression and that the next president will take the blame. I don't know about the guy, and don't know if he is credible, but it does look to be ominous with these abnormalities in the bond insurance.
