Looks like SNL has finally 'jump the shark'
for some reason their jokes are no longer funny, I'm finding it hard to
find a line I can laugh at, most of their jokes are over the top
and boring.

Gone are the days of actors who can write and act, these jokers are
just that jokers.

Jokes are all whacko, don't know if I should be laughing at their
poor acting or jokes.....

They have taken the laugh right out my mouth....

:banghead: :argh:

Who did a great Bush, strange, I can't find the one on the internet

where he was hiding under desk in the future, drinking and telling
the American people how he was sorry about destroying
America with Wars and insurrection.

When Will left, it went terribly down hill.

44. That was funny but it wasn't the skit
This skit was a SNL show with Will as GB in the future,
he was supposed to talk to the nation, as president, but was hiding under his desk, afraid to come out
after fucking things up.

In the background window, you could see Washington burning, and George was
asked to come out from under his desk to talk to the nation. He apologized for
starting that "War thing" then proceeded to take a nip from a flask.
He then proceded to use a little Weber grill in the oval office, while explaining and apologizing.
Of course he started a fire there too.

It was funny. but now it is strangely prophetic after seeing two or three years ago.

Not sure if I saw it on a neighbor's best of Will Ferrill DVD, E-channel rerun or the internet
but it is no where on youtube or other internet sources now, but I saw it a few times.

the classic bits of humor that will be inmmortalized thorugh the ages, along with Chevy Chase and his classic pratfalls.

What the hell are you people thinking that SNL "used" to be funny? Near as I can tell, it wasn't SNL back then-- just some really good weed kept us laughing at that dreck.

Roseanne Roseannadanna and the Coneheads weren't nearly as funny as people remember. Funny, but only as far as they ripped off Laugh-In.

69. they've gone downhill since the first episode back
part of the problem is they're running four episodes in a row, which they haven't done since the first season.

also, part of the problem is the guest hosts - Ellen Paige and Amy Adams are good actresses, and Adams especially is a gifted comedian, but they're not suited to sketch comedy.

Jonah Hill, though, who hosts next week, should be great.

the opening skit, again, was anti-Hillary. for some reason, people seem to be missing this point.

75. SNL has sucked for over fifteen years.
Of course, it didn't *truly* suck until they failed to drop to their knees and worship The Obamassiah. In the end, the true test of any person or thing's goodness is whether it embraces or opposes Obama.

This kind of reasoning is what inspired the so-called "cult meme," by the way.

76. last week was ok, but
last night it was terrible, I dont think I laughed 3 different times. I hope the writers get their act together. I think the performers are capable, they just need someone to write something funny.

77. SNL stopped being funny back in the '90s

Many other shows have come along that are way funnier. Take "Robot Chicken," for example.

SNL is tired jokes aimed at boring New York yuppies.

78. I thought last night sketch was pretty funny!
Clearly the comedy has a strong pro-Hillary bent, but so what?

I liked the line when Obama asked Hillary if Bill was there, and she replies "It's 3 AM, what do you think?"
