10. Obama has already shown he can defeat Hillary's Rovian tactics. McPain will be a piece of cake.

2. I truly hope we've learned about their evil ways.
I never thought for a minute that his sorry little ass has not been involved in this campaign from the minute he left the warmth of bush's butthole to go back to texass.

4. Look at it this way...
He hasn't helped one single Republican win an office in quite a while. I think this country has had enough of his kind of politics.

6. Here I was thinking he was secretly working for Obama
Whoever is behind the dirty obama campaign is slimier than rove ever thought of being if indeed he isn't already working for him.

7. Met with Bush, gets Rove
buys Diebold. Yep, his only path to the presidency is completing his transformation into total Bush stooge. He will appoint a fellow stooge as Veep. His life expectancy in office depends on him passing through the collapse of everything and the completion of unfinished dirty jobs. The Bush "sin eater" will give way to the GOP Veep who will appoint another Bush or Bushie as Veep and restore the cabinet to dynasty levels.

They still plan on winning, in case anyone was wondering. I suppose if they have to lose it doesn't hurt for the Bushes to keep their claws on the campaign as much as possible, for other reasons. Rove is disposable as well should defeat take him down. Some other Atwater can take over the cheat and lie machinery.

11. Rove is a lot like McCain
tempermental, faded, out of date. Worn out, shown to be a failure, and limited in his ways of thinking. What worked in 2000 will not work in 2007.

14. So Mccain doesn't mind getting help from the man who exploited his daughter as a political tool?

18. What's worse is that now Rove is trying to push what a great guy McCain was for adopting her....
So, he's still exploiting her eight years later.

Seriously, if I was Bridget McCain Karl Rove would be getting a smack in the face.

I'll take a repeat of the 2006 mid-term, thank you very much. :-)

31. honestly, Tellurian,
I have enjoyed the vast majority of your posts. I know we strongly disagree about our respective candidates (hell, my choice was Biden, followed by Edwards) and I suspect that we cannot change each other's minds. I just look forward to this being over, and we can share a psychic beer while we see the GOP self-destruct into utter, permanent, and complete irrelevancy.

25. If I'm Obama or Clinton I wait patiently
and then I flood the airwaves with commercials that tie Mcain directly with the politics of slime that Rove is the high priest of.

Stupid move by mcain to hire this soon to be indicted clown.

I had no doubt he'd hook up with the eventual nominee.
