I'll vote, but I don't like my choices |
|
I held my breath and hoped for the longest time that Gore would step into the race. I like Dennis Kucinich, and then moved on to Edwards. Now what? I don't like Hillary any more, because I honestly think too many people hate her, and I'm starting to dislike her, too. Obama seems like a good guy, but I tend to agree with Hillary in that we don't really know what we're getting with him - he really does have too little experience. Add that to the fact that I don't see your average white guy voting for a black man with a Middle-Eastern sounding name, and I'm worried. I think the Democrats have done it to themselves again, and I'm afraid we will put McCain in the White House. Me? I'm donating to Obama on pay day, I will vote for him on election day. But then, I voted for the guys that lost in the last two elections. It's getting to be a habit. I can't stay at home on election day, but I sure would like someone I could really support as a choice. I'm tired of picking the lesser of two unpleasant alternatives.

1. Obama is vulnerable; women will rescue the party by voting for Hillary |
|
The press is comparing Obama to passive Dukakis and Kerry in the face of attacks. Hillary will fight McCain and the wingers, and women will quietly vote to make the first woman president. That's probably the only way we'll take the White House.
Hillary is more liberal than she lets on. She's doing what she has to do to get there.
