Tired of MSNBC promotion of SNL |
|
Is anyone else getting tired of MSNBC's breathless coverage of what happened on Saturday Night Live? I don't think they're fooling anyone -- it's clearly a commercial for their network partner, but they act like it's a legitimate story every Sunday morning.

1. Aww... someone didn't like SNL's skit about Obama's 3am call to Hillary from the White House? |

I must have the opinion I do because they criticized candidate X while I like candidate Y? I honestly couldn't even tell whether they were more critical of Obama than Clinton. Since I don't like the coverage, I'm not really motivated to pay attention to the sketch.
But this is GDP; every opinion must be a covert expression of one's candidate preference. :eyes:

6. What truth? That Hillary is one of the dirtiest politicians around |
|
and that she's desperate because she's basically lost the nomination?

12. Opinions are like assholes... |
|
Everybody has one.
Yours seems to be that Hillary is a dirty politician.
My opinion, equal in relevancy to yours, is she is quite an honest politician who not only has to face normal election challenges, but also must defend herself against a hateful, unfair and unobjective press that is literally out to destroy her -- a press, for example, that will tell enough lies about her in print and on broadcast to make people who don't really know the subbject matter THINK she is a dirty politician.

9. If they have to show SNL clips, |

Why can't they show clips from back when the show was actually funny?

SNL is trying to stay on the cutting edge, no one has the heart to tell them they fell off years ago.

16. What bugs me is they are not showing the entire clip |
|
where faux Hillary declares this is completely untrue and deceptive - nope they just show the panicked Obama part.
A pox on SNL, MSNBC and all the other political pundits who show this in that context!

It will be coming up soon. HE (unlike anyone else on tv) played the intro. of the skit.
