OK, I may be naive or really uniformed
but is it possible that at a brokered convention we could end up with an Edwards/Obama ticket?

2. No.
Not likely. However, I do think Edwards is seriusly thinking of endorsing Obama very soon. Maybe in the next day or so? Those extra 26 delegates would look nice in the total.

4. A brokered convention would end up with McCain elected POTUS, no matter who was on the
Dem ticket.

Besides Obama has already flat out stated he's not interested in the VP slot.

7. now that is a way to shoot one's self in the foot.
Senator Obama might not be able to convince the Supers and he is not going to win without them.

Same with Senator Clinton so at least she is somewhat open to the possiblity.

They both need to think 'hey, compromise.'

8. I like that too...but I don't think you should put the one with the most
votes first..Now I am Edwards supporter..now that he is not running I'm 100% behind Obama..but I would sure like to see an Obama and Edwards run...it fact I can't think of anything better..

10. Technically possible, but extremely unlikely
Unlikely to the point of impossibility, if that makes any sense.

11. It makes sense to me that Obama should choose Edwards as his VP.

If they killed him, they'd know that their real bogey-man would be there to step in his shoes with a luvverly, luvverly New Deal for all One Nation Americans.

Of course, they've killed more than two Democratic presidents (two brothers.... names escape me) within a year or two before, but doing it a second time might precipitate a whole lot of unpredictable anger from the American people at every level. I would imagine Barak was thinking along those lines when he spoke with John a short while back.

Of course, most of us would have preferred John as President, but that's another matter. It's nice to know that that is at least technically possible. Though, in its own way, Barak's election to the presidency could turn out to be providential in unpredictable, but beneficial ways.
