Roland Martin just made a great point about Hillary's argument that she's the one who'll win the BIG
BLUE states a Dem. needs to win" and that's why she should be the nominee even if she has fewer delegates than Obama. She includes TX in her list of big states. First of all, TX isn't "blue," (yet she counts it-even though not only did OBAMA win more delegates there, but it's inconsistent with the rest of her argument), secondly, OBAMA would win the big blue states, too (as well as expanding the electoral map in a way Hillary won't), and thirdly, he pointed out that Hillary insults ALL the Dems. in the red and purple and small states implying or SAYING they don't count.

That's why we need OBAMA to be our nominee! He doesn't see voters as numbers but as people.

36. He also mentioned Dems would be running for elective offices
in these "red" states; and Hillary's belittling of those states is not helpful to those Dems in that regard. That's a tremendously great point: Hillary's tactics are damaging to party candidates planning future runs in these red states.

I hope the DNC sits up and takes notice.

(Cafferty, but close enough). :)

I DID send an email about that to CNN and MSNBC. (Not to Cafferty directly, but to CNN. And I said so right here a few days ago)! Maybe I'll send another one to Cafferty directly! :hi:

I wrote this: TX was not only a primary. It was a "prima-caucus."
The primary is not seperate from the caucus when it
comes to who won the state. And here's just one
article about how Obama won the caucus by so many
delegates that they overtook Hillary's lead in the
primary part of the election. PLEASE report on this:

7. A ham sandwich will take CA and NY for the democrats.
And that goes for the rest of the big Blue states too. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Certain states are known as "democratic strongholds" for a reason, they tend to see a majority of democratic voters come out to the polls. This will become Obama's "base" come the general election -- add to that the new democrats and independents and we'll wipe the floor with McCain.

She makes so many inconsistent statements she can't keep them straight. She counts her "win" in TX as a reason she should be the nominee. She counts it as a big state she won (she counts FL and MI, too). :eyes:

22. Try this: Obama has won zero big states that the Dems need to win, except his home state.
Martin is confused.

Obama can't win Florida or Ohio and he can't win the general without one of them.

He cannot win.

not to mention he'll also win all the blue states she beat him in. Even if he DOESN'T win FL or OH, he will win states Hillary can't. He'll change the whole map to the Dems.' advantage.

10. The fallacy that Obama can't win big states
We all know that he can win CA, MA, and NJ. Ohio and PA might be tough for either Dem to win, but only those who are being disingenuous would claim that only Hillary can beat McCain in the big, traditonally blue states. That is not an argument that should even have any weight with Party elders, and I'm sure it doesn't- no matter how much the MSM wants that to be the message.

After seeing Ed Rendell on Meet the Press, I am convinced ClintonCo has lost their collective mind. Obama has won the most delegates, the most states, and the most popular vote.

There's no coming in second in politics. Well, maybe we can give her a canned ham.
