Time to fact check all of Obama so-called "scandals" ...
We know Obama is being 'scandalized' by Rezko, but the bigger problem is that "Individual H" for the Rezko trial is actually much more of Hillary's problem than Obama. Plus, Patrick Fitzgerald has cleared him of any wrongdoing or he would not be on the witness list.

So, what else is there that can be considered a Obama 'scandal'?

Muslim? Already debunked - Obama himself is Christian, and his natural father was a Christian. His stepfather was more of a spirtualist and a drunk than a real Muslim.

Hmm.. what else?

2. Indonesian "madrassa" scandal? Debunked
He actually went to a Catholic school which was founded by the Dutches before they ceded to Indonesian independence in the '60s or so (I think)

9. NOT DEBUNKED is the fact he lied and said for serveral days that no NAFTA Canada meeting
had ever taken place - he denied until he had yo syop because the memo surfaced - and then one can read the Canadian memo and note the plan to lie to the American voter - as recorded in a memo whose credibilty as the writers best summary of the meeting has bener been question - Obana now says that his adviser was "mis-understood". - focus on/note the O lie about there being no meeting - hard to pretend that that was not a lie.

However what was debunked was the nutty crap that it was not Obama - but instead Hillary - that said she was about to lie - which Canada from the PM down has stated was not true - and for the reason the conversation never happened is without a memo documenting any conversation. But MSNBC/KO certainly put out the lie as if it were truth in their effort to defend Obama - they even quoted the RW Globe and Mail - with KO forgetting to note the paper stated it had no named source for the anti-Hillary smear.

- check the CNBC Ludlow show where Obama's economics adviser said to not worry about cost of Obama social programs because Obama did not intend/expect them to pass,

AGAIN note that the Canadian memo has never been said to be incorrect except by Obama who said the writer misunderstood what was being said,

FINALLY note the Iraq war out in a year is not operative and is only a best case scenario if Obama advisers are talking outside the US.

debunked - ? - no - never

ignored by Obama supporters on DU - always

5. Would you rather see the troops starve to death?
The funding was actually meant to keep the troops going, and it wasn't exactly what Obama wanted. He wanted withdrawal within 18 months.

8. I guess you folks just never "got" Bush...
just like with the Telecom immunity where Bush would rather see an attack succeed on the United States or it's allies in the War on Terror THAN have a bill without the immunity...

Bush would have seen our fighting men and women killed and out of supplies (like, say, ammunition) because the Democrats voted to not fund the war rather than withdraw. No funding means withdraw is ONLY TRUE for the sane people. Bush would have left them there to die and BLAMED THE DEMOCRATS. That's just the way he is... he is the "decider" (my way or the highway).

You think defunding would have done something else (anything else)... please tell me why you think so.

12. Feel free to pick up this ball and run with it.
It's just my humble opinion, of course... but I really do feel that Bush is not a sane person. He is a person that must be "right" on everything, even little things (like jumping on that reporter about the $4/gallon gasoline comment). He can't let it go.

Cut of funding for the troops is NOT cutting orders for them to withdraw.

First, Bush would shift other funds around (from other DOD programs) to continue the occupation. Then, if funding for the entire DOD is cut off, he will simply leave them there with what supplies they have... if they run out, too bad. And he will blame the Democrats every day.

If there is any kind of terror incident right now (like, oh, say that ricin thing in Las Vegas, had whatever planned succeeded)... Bush would be blaming the Democrats. Which is why I expect one. In fact, jamming my :tinfoilhat: on, it's possible that the Vegas thing was an outsourced OSP black bag job gone wrong... else why did a "relative" show up to find a vial (who looks for vials) of ricin in his room (once the guy was in a coma)... and why did the police come right out and say "doesn't look like terrorism" when, in fact, it looks EXACTLY like terrorism.

Anyway, Bush has always been about "blame his opponents" more than he cares about his people, the military, our nation, anything.

13. Would you rather he voted to take away funding for the troops that would have to remain in Iraq?
My stepson's in Baghdad. I blame Clinton for sending him there.

6. Not really black... debunked
For centuries didn't the RW fundies label anyone black who had even one black ancestor even when they clearly were more white than black. Can't have it both ways. Someone should tell them.
