President Barack Obama takes the oath of office. Outgoing president Bush is unable to attend and sends perfunctory telegram of congratulations from his retreat in Paraguay

President Barcak Obama rescinds all executive orders and signing statements that are not in keeping with the Constitution of the United States.

President Barack Obama travels to Baghdad to witness the beginning of the troop withdrawal and the handover of the U.S. Embassy to the Iraqi government for use by a consortium of world aid agencies who will finally begin the reconstruction of the country. Departing troops are greeted with flowers at the airport.

President Barack Obama addresses the General Assembly of the United nations and lays out a a comprehensive multilateral program for the global elimination of nuclear weapons, war profiteering and corporate degradation of the environment.

President Barack Obama accepts resignations of Supreme Court Justices Thomas, Scalia, Alito and Roberts.

President Barack Obama inaugurates the new solar and wind energy farm on the former vacation retreat of his predecessor in Crawford Texas which was recently purchased in foreclosure by a non-profit charitable energy trust founded by U.N. Secretary General Al Gore.

President Barack Obama appoints former Senator Hillary Clinton to a federal court position in Guam.

President Barack Obama congratulates former Vice President Dick Cheney on his recognition as Prisoner of the Month at the new federal penitentiary in Kennebunkport Maine.

President Barack Obama appoints Sibel Edmonds as new director of the CIA after eliminating the office of the Director of National Intelligence.

President Barack Obama completes his second term in office and passes the torch to Vice President Jim Webb who won a landslide victory over third party candidate Ralph Nader. Republican challenger Jeb Bush finished a distant third.

OK. I admit it. I just enjoy saying "President Barack Obama"

where Gore came on and talked about his term in office...

This post reminds me of that. That was possibly the last time that SNL was funny.
