You know... I'm starting to wonder...you know... if maybe Rove learned from the Clintons |
|
Many people have dubbed Clinton's tactics as Rovian... but maybe Rove learned from the Clintons. Maybe the Clintons invented what is now known as the RW play book?

Rollins (for Reagan) Nixon and his group LBJ The guy who came up with the phrase "Ma, Ma Where's my Pa..." or the one who came up with "Van, Van he's a used up man." or "John Q Adams pimped for the Tsar."
Maybe they ALL learned from the Clintons
I mean, negative campaigning is such a new thing. :sarcasm:

in this election. Or more likely, he'd be pissed he didn't think of some of this shit first.

3. Nah. Rove learned young from his idol, Donald Segretti |
|
Edited on Mon Mar-10-08 06:44 AM by sparosnare
He was a strategist from Richard Nixon. Ed Muskie was the victim of Segretti dirty tricks during the 1972 campaign, lies were spread about his wife being a heavy drinker and a story was planted that Muskie dissed New Hampshire's French Canadians. Segretti did all kinds of fun stuff.

4. I'm sure once Rove sees a successful tactic he will adopt it no matter where it comes from. |
|
I'll bet Bush learned a lot from the Clinton stonewalling regarding all the lawsuits including travelgate and paulagate.

5. God bless the Clintons, they're stuck in mode |
|
They're too dependent on tactics that don't work anymore. They think it's all rat-fucking and mailers and keeping the other guy dancing as fast as he can.
Karl Rove politicking is well known and tiresome. The American people know this country is in some damned trouble and they know better than to let this nasty name-calling, petty-ante, gotcha stuff keep them from remembering their very real concerns.
I wish Hillary and Bill could see that.

8. Naw... the Clintons got their asses handed to them |

for 6 years straight. They learned by being the #1 victim.
Two of the three candidates have Stockholm Syndrome.

9. Clintons were GROOMED to protect the Bushes - they all worked TOGETHER for decades. |

Jackson Stephens TAPPED Clintons at the beginning of their political careers to wear the donkey masks and protect BushInc from the left.
