Wolfson: “Senator Obama has not passed the commander in chief test.”

But Clinton spokesman says on media conference call that he won’t rule out possibility that the Land of Lincolner would pass the necessary national security threshold by the convention.

“We have a long way to go to Denver….”

Color the press skeptical.

Audio coming soon….

18. You know, the CiC litmus test, like in high school chemistry
Hillary puts a piece of litmus paper in the magic water and it turns red or blue. Let's just say that Hillary is acidic.

That bit of logic seems to elude them.
Nobody in that campaign seems to notice that they're talking out of both sides of their mouths.

Or they do notice, and they think that we don't. Not too bright as a tactic, either way.

13. The whole standard is so goddamn stupid.
What is this 'commander in chief test?' Is it oral or written? Multiple choice, maybe?

Do you have to cross the 'commander in chief threshold' in order to take the test? And do they give you a special decoder ring when you're done?

Seriously. Even by the usual standards of campaign non-speak, this is particularly feeble.

Oh, and Wolfson is a punk.

Does being Governor of Arkansas = passing the CiC test?
If so, that's a pretty low bar.

20. F'in Chutzpah of Hillary and her evil minion Wolfson!
Edited on Mon Mar-10-08 11:38 AM by RamboLiberal

Talk about chutzpah! For the third time in a week, the Clintons are pushing the idea of a presidential ticket of Hillary and Barack Obama.

After Hillary twice gave a thumbs up to the idea, Bubba chimed in, saying the duo would be "unstoppable" in the general election. It's the dream team that makes Democratic hearts flutter and brains turn to mush.

It's a dream team all right, as in dream on.

It's a fantasy because, in the Clintons' pitch, naturally, she is on top of the ticket and Obama is her No. 2. That's rich of her, considering that Obama leads in both the delegate race and the popular vote. Forget those pesky voters - Hillary has declared herself the winner!

Shades of the subprime mortgage mess there. She's like a con artist trying to sell a house she doesn't own. Based on the votes so far, she should have suggested herself as the vice presidential running mate.

21. The audio should be interesting. I wonder if the press even bothered
to question what that "test" consists of.

And I love the way they're hedging their bets, to suddenly be able to say "Well, he wasn't qualified before, but now he is, so he makes a good VP candidate". It's BS in the worst way.

28. And there are a helluva lot of gun owners who have never forgiven
the Clintons for the silly AWB ban and "Clinton Magazines(10 Capacity Limit)". Either Dem candidate will be the scare factor on the NRA magazines.

If Obama proposes any legislation I as a gun owner don't like - I'll fight the Dem reps in Congress. Fat chance the Dems at federal level are touching gun laws - they've been burned too often.

29. I agree, I wish BO & HC would pledge to veto any bill that comes to them that infringes upon the
right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms for self-defense.

80 million gun-owners would cheer and we Dems could talk about other issues.

To help BO & HC do the right thing, the Dem Party should delete the highlighted words from our 2004 platform.

"We will protect Americans' Second Amendment right to own firearms, and we will keep guns out of the hands of criminals and terrorists by fighting gun crime, reauthorizing the assault weapons ban, and closing the gun show loophole, as President Bush proposed and failed to do."
