If Spitzer resigns -- one less Superdelegate?
Currently Elliot Spitzer is a Superdelegate by virue of serving as Governor. Lt. Governor David Paterson is also a Superdelegate as a Party "Member-at-Large". If Spitzer resigns, Paterson would continue to serve as a Superdelegate, but the Lt. Governor's duties would be taken up by the Republican Senate Majority Leader (Joe Bruno). Does the DNC or State Party get to appoint another "Member at Large" or does the state lose a delegate vote? Inquiring minds want to know...

1. If Spitzer were to resign, that would NOT automatically take away his status as a super delegate.

6. Why wouldnt it? Isnt his status as a superdelegeate based on him being the Governor?
If he's not the Governor, why would he be a Superdelegate?
