I gave up Sunday TV for Lent, looked back in today and remembered -
in regards the political races -

> The cable talking heads basically talk to each other. And report and discuss their opinions.

> The same 5 - 6 political sound bites are run 24/7.

> The race for the a new twist to the same story overshadows the race for President.

> Nothing wrong with the above, it's part of the medium, yet it's a fun break, and worthwhile.

(disclaimer) I *did* subscribe to the Sunday NY Times - so I get some of the hoopla - but it's a great bundle of other stuff I can glean through during the week. And share here - :D

1. I check in occasionally to see..
.. what memes and propaganda points are being
inculcated in the masses.

It's pretty depressing.. no serious balanced news
whatsoever.
