Herb Denenberg on Hillary Clinton (it ain't pretty, Hillary fans)

I've been seeing the nearly orgasmic reactions from Hillary Clinton supporters on the thread "Glorifying Obama Is One Of The Greatest Journalistic Failures In
American History" and seeming to think that the author obviously is carrying the water for Hillary with the upcoming Pennsylvania primary race coming up next month.

Well maybe...not so much...

Since those fans are so gleeful about Mr. Denenberg character assassination of Obama, here's a nice little article he wrote about Hillary and Bill Clinton:

More On Hillary Clinton's Character
By: Herb Denenberg, The Bulletin
12/05/2007

Here comes the greatest display of chutzpah in modern American political history. The Clintons are trying to call attention to the adultery of Rudy Giuliani. Here we have the greatest political adulterer in history, Bill Clinton, and his political partner, Hillary Clinton, who spent much of her career aware of Bill's adultery, working to cover it up and actively defaming, denigrating, and destroying any woman who had the courage to come forth with the truth about Bill. His career not only includes a long and unbroken record of adultery and sexual misconduct (even with a young White House intern) but rape as well (the now well-reported case of Juanita Broaddrick). Read on and you will be convinced that one Clinton in the White House is one too many.

This trail of adultery and sexual misconduct all led to litigation, discovery, depositions, and the rest that finally resulted in Bill's impeachment, resulting in his loss of the right to practice law and other court-imposed sanctions. Here we have a certified perjurer and rapist, and his enabler and political partner in both perjury and rape.

When the very king and queen of adultery, for both engaging in it and covering it up, want to call attention to someone else's adultery, that's chutzpah in its purest form.

(snip)

You should understand that Hillary was not taken by surprise by the Monica Lewinsky scandal or any of the other so-called "bimbo eruptions." Ms. Buchanan writes, "Exactly when Hillary came to realize what a rogue Bill was is anyone's guess, but there can be no denying that she knew of his philandering ways before she married him and was constantly reminded of them after they wed. For whatever reason, she learned to accept his foul behavior and refused to see him held accountable for it."

(snip)

You'd better make sure she does not stay on track and does not become the next president of the United States. Hillary would be an unmitigated disaster who would certainly inflict grievous if not fatal harm on this great nation.

Still liking that hit piece on Obama, Hillary fans?

19. She insisted that the stories were false.
She also told Linda Tripp that she wanted to be Bill's gf. She failed lie detector tests.

Perhaps I should restate it this way: there is absolutely no proof that he sexually assaulted her.

26. what's that supposed to prove?
that she denied sexual assault before she insisted it happened? that she couldn't pass a lie detector test?

perhaps she was raped. but there is no evidence to support it; just what some journalists see as a kind of echo of the Paula Jones accusations.

10. He was a local
Edited on Mon Mar-10-08 07:08 PM by BumRushDaShow
here in Philadelphia - a consumer advocate and I think he was on the state Insurance board etc. He had a long-running consumer investigation show (going after local businesses, etc) on the local CBS affiliate here. Once he went off the air (and that was some time ago), he apparently found new life writing a column for a resurrected local newspaper and now he's suddenly a political pundit. He's become a vapid wingnut and of course with the blessing of the repuke deregulation and sliming of the airwaves, his sort of crap has been nurtured and allowed to explode. :eyes:

18. This is why I could never support Hillary for any elected office
or anything else for that matter:

Here we have the greatest political adulterer in history, Bill Clinton, and his political partner, Hillary Clinton, who spent much of her career aware of Bill's adultery, working to cover it up and actively defaming, denigrating, and destroying any woman who had the courage to come forth with the truth about Bill.

She has never been an advocate for women and never will be, she is the last thing the women in this country need

20. No Self Respecting Woman
would / should put up with a husband who cheated so often unless:

1 They have an "open" marriage, in which case they should be honest about it.

or

2. Staying "married" is a means to an end (her ambition) in which case she is
unfit for the office.

My bottom line objection to her always has been the nepotism. The Presidency is
NOT a family business to be passed between select families. Bush was bad enough.
It has to end here.

28. Denenberg is still a pinhead.
Even if I am not too fond of Hillary, Denenberg is not a good source. Hillary does plenty to make herself look bad. She doesn't need this pinhead's help.
