13% of Dem primary voters had "strongly favorable" opinion of McCain, and 74% of them
voted for Clinton.

I recognize that there are Republicans who legitimately like Obama or Clinton, and would vote for them in November, but this smells like Rush Limbaugh's handy work.

Strongly favorable?!? McCain?!?

2. that's what i'm thinking, they're out to create mischief...
85% of republican primary voters, voted for hillary. i'll bet that's where the huge number of 72% who say they won't vote for obama in the general. Thanks to Rush, they're still trying to game the system.

3. If they want to pull that shit in PA, they're going to have to register Dem.
Within the next week and a half.

I'm suddenly thrilled that we have a closed primary.

4. That is bad news for Obama in a GE
Obama has admitted that he needs to attract Republicans in order to win red states.

Very bad news for him. It also indicates that Clinton supporters may be planning to vote for McCain, as has been said from other polls.

5. Uh, actually no it isn't.
Have you compared the Hillary vs McCain polls to the Obama vs McCain polls? In particular, the SUSA polls? The evidence is that Obama, if anything, is MORE electable than Hillary.

The Limbaugh Repubs are fucking with our primaries. The only thing that will do is MAYBE give us a candidate most of us don't want.

7. What's that have to do with Mississippi exit poll results?
We are here analyzing one specific section of an exit poll, and all of a sudden you school me about recent GE polls.

11. Yes, I certainly schooled you.
You were talking about Obama's general election prospects and so was I.

12. In fact, you were schooled, and changed the subject
The discussion was about the effect of the Mississippi exit poll and how it related to the GE prospect; but you showed polls that had been conducted before today's exit poll, which was the issue at hand.

13. Was I talking to you?
Did you sign up under a different name?

Regardless, if you think one exit poll from one state is indicative of Obama's GE prospects, compared to the averages of dozens of nationwide polls done by multiple polling companies...
then you don't reside in reality. Have fun there! :)
