After Ferraro makes race a issue as part of the Monster's campaign...
Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 07:42 PM by PITBOS
I vote agaist Hillary whoever she is up against and that includes the Tin Man. This is scary what the Monster will do to win. I don't care what anyone thinks of me at this point. I feel it to the core - she has no scrupels and can't be trusted in the oval office.

But I was wrong, I stand corrected after today.

2. Ferraro didn't make race an issue
Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 07:46 PM by maddiejoan
Axelrod did.

And he waited until today to slam Geraldine over an answer to a posed question

He's running one of the most vile race-baiting campaigns I've ever seen --and all to push Mr. Hopen'Change™ to a nomination.

9. Did Axelrod write the text for Geraldine?
A Hillary supporter makes an idiotic statement, then tries to defend it with an idiotic response and is is Axelrod's fault. I am glad you cleared that up. Sounds like Bushspeak to me!

That's a pretty lame excuse
Geraldine said it. She won't retract it.
And Clinton supports it.

And the Obama campaign did what ? Pointed it out?

There is no excuse for Geraldine Ferraro's racist remarks.
Yes they are truly racist and offensive. And there's no excuse
for Hillary's condoning those thoughts by not firing Ferraro.

Monsters. Both of them.

12. Didn't Make Race an Issue?
WTF planet are you living on?
That was the ENTIRE point of here first attack on Obama.
That Obama wouldn't be here if he was white.
That Obama is only successful because he is black?
And instead of backtracking, she continues to push the race issue, claiming she is now being attacked because, get this, she's white.

How in the hell do you say "Ferraro didn't make race an issue"? Honestly?

"one of the most vile race-baiting campaigns?" I haven't seen it.

Also, why do you think that those comments made by Geraldine are not racist?

18. But you didn't answer my question.
You answered with another question, so I still didn't know why you think that Axelrod is running a race bating campaign. If you make a charge like that you should be prepared to back it up.

As far as what Ferraro said goes, it's quite obvious. She is saying that the only reason why Obama is succeeding is because of his race. Never mind his qualifications and never mind the brilliant campaign he has run. That's being dismissive of a black man. She is trying to point out the race issue in an attempt to scare white people into voting against Obama based upon race. And if that's not racist I don't know what is.

So now back to Axelrod.

Obama's campaign has been a race-baiting campaign to smear Hillary Clinton as a racist since he lost New Hampshire.

I thought you said Bill Clinton started it.

it actually started before that with crap like Obama and crews faux outrage at Hillary's MLK and LBJ comment.
The Obama camps INTENTION has been to paint the non-racist Clintons as racists. They've done it all with out of context bullshit
cherry picked and packaged up for guilty little hypocrites who think they are 'color-blind'

but you knew that.

Bill did it before South Carolina (predominently African American state)
Gerry did it before Miss (another African American state)
Which Official Hillary surrogate will do it next?

Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 07:53 PM by maddiejoan
She holds no real position in Hillary's campaign

AND she actually did it before Ohio, and what everyone believed was the end of Hillary's campaign --Axelrod brought it out today for very specific reasons.

--- to race-bait Obama's way a big win in Mississippi today

17. BINGO
They are pretty backwards in that middle part of PA---and they will eat this shit up. She knows she has got to have a huge win in PA to justify staying in this race and she'll do it by any means necessary. There is no longer any doubt in my mind that what Ferraro said was well-coached and straight from the inner sanctum of HillaryLand.
