The stat from MS that makes me want to vomit.
"Among Clinton voters, only 16 percent said they would be satisfied if Obama wins the party's top spot."

CNN

Really?

16%?

1. Likewise, Obama won 90% of the black vote
What will all those people do if they have reason to think victory was snatched from Obama by white superdelegates?

9. The black people will probably do the same thing

that the white people will do if white super delegates snatch victory.

What do you think the white voters will do if they have reason to think victory was snatched from Obama by white super delegates?

What do you think Hillary voters will do if the white super delegates give Obama the victory?

20. True, there are many ways to play to our society's racism
If one chooses to play that card, however coded the message.

2. Makes me wonder what the percentage is here at DU.
I wonder if it's comparable to MS.

Your candidate is destroying the party.

16. You should the corporate media and Karl Rove, Drudge, the Moonies and Fox.
Also Tweety at MSNBC and a host of supposedly "neutral" mainstream media journalists who have been attempting to create friction---hell, been attempting to create a state of total war between the two camps since January of last year for a variety of reasons, ranging from it is more fun to cover a contesting, bloody race to they have been instructed by their corporate bosses to make sure the Democrats leave the convention in Denver in disarray.

My next journal "The Press v. Barack Obama" is currently in production. It is a follow up to "The Press vs. John Edwards" and "The Press v. Hillary Clinton" I have covered three whole months and have 11 pages of notes and I am only up to February 2007. The results are absolutely shocking. They prove what I have been saying all along. The press is a big fat liar. Esp. Tweety. He is the Mother of all Lies.

I hope to have it done by tomorrow.

12. ding ding ding ding
Hillary gets 77% of the Republican vote in the primary and we're surprised that a majority of her support doesn't want to see Obama in the fall?

He's obviously in league with Al Qaeda who will be dancing in the streets unless McCain or Hillary are nominated.

would be satisfied if Clinton wins the party's top spot.

which basically says that both sides are very partisan

14. bzzzt...
Of those who voted for Obama, 42 percent said they would be satisfied if Clinton was the nominee, according to the exit polls.

Granted not much better.

15. check again
the numbers aren't tabulated the way we are interpreting it.

If you add the column....Obama vote has 127% of Obama supporters...so you can't read it that way.
Best bet is the exit poll question....

Would you be satisfied
Only if Clinton wins
Only if Obama wins
Obama has a larger number of people who would only be satisfied if Obama wins.
But both sides are extremely partisan.
Thank goodness for the 35% who said they'd be satisfied if either wins.

17. Remember something like three quarters of these Clinton voters have a favorable opinion of McCain
So obviously there's some sort of disconnect going on here.

18. I dunno. If the question was worded "would you be satisfied" I think that's okay
I am supporting Obama, so I'd be "dissatisfied" if Clinton were to win the nomination in that it won't be what I wanted. I'd get over it quickly though and support her as the nominee.

19. Well, since there are only 2 candidates for the party's top spot, right now, what did you expect?
I won't be satisfied if Obama wins the party's top spot. I'll accept it and move on, but that's a long way from being "satisfied."
