Kerry responds directly to Rove's big mouth and comes out on top
"Rove regrets using banner declaring ‘Mission Accomplished’
Kerry, in Pittsburgh, denounces White House’s ‘twisted’ morality"

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4760238/

"Rove also predicted that “we’re going to win Ohio comfortably” in the race against Bush’s Democratic rival, Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts. “I don’t mean that it’s going to be close,” Rove said. “What I mean is, it’s going to be where everybody is going to be paying a lot of time and attention. I think we’re going to win Ohio comfortably, but I do think that Democrats are going to contest it strongly.”

"Kathy Roeder, a spokeswoman for the Kerry campaign, said it was “stunning” that Rove felt so confident that he could win Ohio, a state that has millions of people without health care."

snip

"Kerry, a decorated Vietnam War veteran, pointed out that Rove and Vice President Dick Cheney did not serve in the military. “I’m tired of Karl Rove and Dick Cheney and a bunch of people who went out of their way to avoid their chance to serve when they had the chance,” Kerry said. “I’m not going to listen to them talk to me about patriotism.”

END OF QUOTES

This is good because responding DIRECTLY to Rove and acknowledging Rove as the big mouth behind the boy king emasculates Bush. It throws a spotlight on the fact that he's not running his own show. One of the most impressive steps that Kerry can take is to stand toe-to-toe with Rove and say "I'm not afraid of you, little doggie."

It seems to me as if he has just done that.

1. My sister-in-law lives in Ohio
she proudly called me over a month ago to tell me that she and her husband are now registered DEMS. They had be pugs for all of their over 30 voting years. People in Ohio are disgusted.

4. Do you think junior will ask to hold Rove's hand during the debates?
If the fraud even agrees to debate?

6. No, but they may insists on having it in an old theatre...
...with a prompting pit in the foot of the stage. (picture a Warner Brothers cartoon whenever they went "musical") That's where Herr Rove will be...

7. maybe not directly holding hands
that would give the impression that they are flip-flopping on the Gay Marriage amendment

HOWEVER, you can be sure they will be connected by some sort of umbilical cord

9. Diebold is certainly in the fix. . .
but I found it somewhat ironic that the 20 year old GI hostage in Iraq hails from Ohio.

They had a rally for the troops there and it morphed into a vigil for the hostage. Folks sounded really outraged when interviewed.

I hope Rove & O'Dell won't get away with messing with the heartland.

11. Note well, he said
"but I do think that Democrats are going to contest it strongly." Why would Rove know the election would be contested? He knows exactly how they are going to steal it.

15. Yeah, well, that and the....
"What I mean is, it’s going to be where everybody is going to be paying a lot of time and attention" comment.

The whole thing smells like the "previously frozen jumbo shrimp" sale at the local Safeway.

It's typical Rove behavior. OF COURSE he's "up to something." And he's stroking himself into a frenzy by dropping little "what I mean is..." teasers into the media pool. That's his "release"...getting away with something, and making it known that he's the perpetrator and is "untouchable" because of his deep connection to the House of Saud...er...I mean, "The Bush Family."

16. Yeah, Rove's confident about CA and NY too.
Rove only gets away with selling his worthless product (Bush) because people don't kick tires any more.

By the time the election rolls around, I wouldn't be surprised if Texas were in play. You can't fool anyone all of the time, even frontier-posturing, cowboy-hat-wearing cube monkeys in Texas.
