Revote in Michigan! This Obama supporter says bring it on!
Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 09:11 PM by Bread and Circus
I have a strong feeling he'd win Michigan. First, we are more like Wisconsin and Illinois than Ohio in recent past Presidential elections. Second, as you can see from this map the further away from Appalachia and the Ohio River Basin, the rural areas of the midwest are less hardcore Clinton:

Third, the Detroit metro area is strongly black and I think they will be very motivated. Fourth, we have some fairly liberal Universities here with large populations.

I think after a good campaign here and reasonable coverage by the press (which he didn't get before Ohio and Texas), Obama will be well suited to take Michigan with the same kinds of numbers he took Wisconsin.

We don't like Buckeyes anyway and I doubt we will let them show us how to vote!

****Please note that the closer the counties in Ohio get to Michigan, the more purple they get. This is a good sign for Obama.

3. Hey!!! I'm a Buckeye....
It's ok, I'm not offended. We have generally voted differently in the past. and yes, you guys generally vote smarter--in '04, in columbus, Michael Moore said he'd wear an Ohio State University baseball cap if Ohio went Kerry....but sadly....yeah, you know the outcome....sigh.

so PLEASE!!! pull it off for Obama!!! My County (Delaware--and Franklin) went for Obama.....

4. Now that you've seen them tied in MI polls, of course. Bring it!
But this decision could change according to poll data variation, I guess.

5. I live in Michigan too and I have never seen more people ready to vote for Obama.
I'm not worried if we re-vote. Hillary can have FLA.

6. The "undecided" vote came in 2nd to HRC during the MI primary. I'd bet
that a lot of them would have gone to Obama had he been on the ballot.

7. I was one of those "uncommitted" and that was back before Obama was the only
real alternative to Clinton. Back then, Edwards was still strong.

I think if we caucused in Michigan, Obama would kill Clinton 2 to 1.
