not!
:nopity:

Chicken hawks and cowards who never get out of the office should not try making action movie style photo ops. Just doesn't work.

5. B-b-b-but I thought that was the Navy's fault?
Preznit Turd told us so himself....

"The president told reporters the sign was put up by the Navy, not the White House.
"I know it was attributed somehow to some ingenious advance man from my staff -- they weren't that ingenious, by the way," the president said Tuesday. "

6. do not laugh to fast on this one
<snip>Rove also predicted that "we're going to win Ohio comfortably"</snip>

Notice he's sure of a Ohio win for Republicans, BBV need I say more?

<snip>I think we're going to win Ohio comfortably, but I do think that Democrats are going to contest it strongly."</snip>

I'm seeing dirty tricks, Kerry and all Democrats need to get out in front of this one.
Republicans are going to cheat in Ohio! The Diebold guy promised them Ohio and they are going to go ahead with that plan! Notice how Rove is trying to place blame on Democrats saying we are going to 'contest it strongly'
Come on, this is dirty tricks 101 we need to stomp their elephant butts on this one.

7. What kinds of things can we do if the BBVs are already there?
Sometimes I've thought that people should take pictures of their computer screens before OKing their votes. Couldn't be used in a recount, but at least if we went to court that might be used as evidence. I know it sounds crazy and desperate, but, I am, desperate, that is.

9. I picked up on that too, M.
My thoughts exactly. It had me really worried because I believe Ohio has gone over to the Diebold voting machines.

This has been an ongoing concern here at the DU for a long time. I would say the ONLY way to prevent this from happening is with exit polls. This is when you have volunteers standing outside the voting booth to take people's voting preference.

Granted, they won't catch every single person leaving the polling booth, but they will definitely get an accurate view of how people are voting.

If there is a large discrepancy, then we can assume that the voting machines are rigged. This is exactly what happened in Florida. There was a huge discrepancy between the tally results, versus what people told the exit pollers.

DANGER!!!

10. You're right about exit polls
Edited on Sun Apr-18-04 09:54 AM by teryang
This is why a major "bio-warfare defense contractor" became involved with VNS exit polling services for the 2002 election and then the major media mysteriously abandoned its exit polling service on election in November 2002 because of "technical difficulties."

This organization previously had contractual ties to Ken Alibek, William Patrick III and and Steven Hatfill and a contract to evaluate the threat of anthrax being sent through the mail.
