Obama supporters please think before posting. |
|
All of this crap coming from the Clinton campaign and supporters is pure crap and meant to divide. It is old time politics that were fine tuned by the likes of Rove. Note that they are aimed directly at his strengths and meant to take him off message and create and us vs them mentality.
Think about the Geraldine comments, they would be blasted by any decent Democrat if any Right Wing jerk made the statement. Yet they are defended by some Democrats because they are seen as an attack to support "their" candidate. The comments themselves are meant to be inflammatory and intended to make it a black versus white issue in the long run. In no way are they meant to make this Country a better place, or move us forward. They are meant to drag the contest down, demoralize the white youth vote, and create a win by the smallest majority. I see it comments on DU daily that do nothing to support Democratic principles, rather they look like what some rabid Bushie would post in 2003.
So some ridiculous posts deserve nothing more than an insight into some twisted psyche.

And if it were, it would be an "oxymoronic" statement.

Instead of telling you to go fuck yourself the following could be said:
1. Think and Obama supporters is an oxymoron statement? You must not think much of the educational system of the U.S. based upon the demographics of the Obama supporters. Still a bit nasty but better than the original.
2. "I am sorry that you feel Obama supporters can't think. We have a very strong movement of people who love our Country and believe more should be expected of the leaders and all of the population of this great Country. After 8 years of a horrible leader we have hope that Obama can lead a change that will positively impact all of our lives and the image of the U.S."
I will go with response two.

11. Yeah, there was a scary poll during coverage of the MIssissippi primary, today |
|
Can you believe it, (in 2008!) the Talking Heads on the TeeVee were making a big point about the very low percentage of Clinton supporters who would be willing to *accept* Barack Obama, as a running mate for Hillary. It was like 70 to 30, more than 2 to 1, opposed to that combination. On the other hand, Obama supporters considering Hillary were about 50/50, evenly split.
Rachel Maddow observed, thoughtfully, 'it might have something to do with the negative tones Hillary's campaign has been using to describe Obama,' but no one looked too convinced. The OTHER big, really important news of the day was that only about 25% of white, male Mississippi voters backed Obama.
They made it sound like that whole primary really went badly for him, on balance, all things being taken into account. (Another way of saying, "black votes don't count," but they didn't really say that, in so many words.)

6. I wish this were a clean campaign: save all the venom for McCain |
|
If Hillary had any brains she woulda cleaned Obama's clock outta the starting gate without the need to go negative. But Obama had the brains...
