"If Hillary Clinton had not been the president's wife, she wouldn't be in the race."
People say a lot of stupid shit.

Let's make sure it all gets on the "Greatest" page.

1. There is a difference.
That comment does not disparage an entire race.

9. Oh, yeah, that's one difference.

There are some differences, all right. You pointed out one of them.

Also, I think that the subject statement in my post probably has more truth to it than the Ferraro statements about Jackson and Obama (which sadden me, because I revered her as a public figure and as a historic and strong VP candidate, and now she is reverting to some sort of idiocy).

2. If Hillary Clinton were a human being, she wouldn't be Hillary Clinton

4. If BO was white he wouldn't be considered, he'd just be another
white guy, not presidential material.

3. This is completely true...
I just don't understand the "Hillary is a woman so I have to vote for her" meme...

I'd rather vote for a woman who owns it for herself, instead of someone running on her husband's coattails...

5. "If Hillary Clinton had not been the president's wife, she wouldn't be in the race."
She wouldn't have even made it to the senate.

8. I think the point being that connections to power were a huge benefit.
Much like I have said many times that if Idiot Son hadn't won the womb lottery, he'd be bagging groceries at Piggly Wiggly or if Paris Hilton hadn't won the womb lottery, she'd be starring in Paris Does France at the adult video store.

10. And you really think she would?
She didn't get where she is on her own merits. Margaret fucking Thatcher is more of a feminist role model in that regard than Hillary is.
