Barack adds 20 delegates (to her 13) and wins popular vote by 94,000 |
|
The popular vote margin effctively negates Hillary's Texas margin (shy about 7000).
Congrats to Hillary for carrying the Red redneck District 1 by a couple of thousand votes, otherwise, the margin would have been 9 delegates.

Apparently, "rednecks" don't count and are also gross unless they vote for Hillary.

Just refers to someone who works for a living.
I grew up in South Louisiana - when I was there I was called a coon ass. No offense meant, none taken.

|
Which is what you're supposed to win in primaries and caucuses, not the majority of the popular vote.

Good Mountain people!! When I married my late husband in 1964,(Afro-American) he used to call me a "redneck" just because my parents referred to me by my first and middle name, as was my Mom, Pearl May. He used to get a big kick out of it, and I didn't mind at all. I'd say, yepper, we's mountain folks !!! by the way , my middle name is June, and my signature line was my Dads nickname for me.:hi:

23. I just did the math -- a couple were close, but they broke each way |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-12-08 12:43 AM by thevoiceofreason
Dist. 1 -- Very Close, but Clinton takes it 3-2 Dist. 2 -- Obama 5-2, almost 6-1 (about 2% short -- he got over 76%, needed over 78% Dist. 3 -- Obama 3-2 easy Dist. 4 -- Obama 3-2 very close -- Obama took this district by less than 1000 votes with 100% in in the district.
Overall, they'll split 11 votes. It goes 6-5 as soon as one gets over 50%. About every 9.1%, another delegate breaks over. Barack got 61%, so he gets 7 and Hillary gets 4.
20 Obama 13 Clinton
On edit: Now real clear shows 18-12. They are hedging their bets. I think my numbers are safe -- I went down the coounty lists per district. All in but a few. The only thing where Obama is close to "losing" a delegate is district 4, and it is 100% in.
