If Clinton won't bow out, time for Dr. Dean or someone to take her out
If she doesn't and she's the general candidate, anybody
think 90% of African Americans will be voting Democrat?
Are you out of your fucking minds?

That's it. Say sayonara to our hold on the House and
Senate, say buh-bye to any chance at the White House, and
hello to World War 3 thanks to Grandpa Bomb-bomb-bomb
Iran. The Democratic Party will be dead.

Come on, Dr. Dean, Speaker Pelosi, Democratic Party. End
this.

Obama has successfully divided the party.

It never ceases to amaze me how incredibly stupid and ill-informed the Hillbots are. LOL!

There are enough returning independents who were disgusted with where the party went and former republicans with good hearts who are sick enough of the new world order to make up for it.

We're just taking our party back.

You don't think the party allowed this festering sore to explode like this for no reason do you?

I don't think the Obamas realize how badly we are screwn either. Obama cannot win the GE without Hillary's vote (the base, which would be fractured); and Clinton can't win without the AA's etc.

A unity ticket would be the only solution, but I don't see either option there working. I see the Dems headed for an unmitigated disaster. Any way it goes, they'll blame Hillary. Great job Obama.

15. No black vote
She would completely lose the black vote. I wouldn't be in the least surprised to see blacks completely boycott the presidential election. And without the black vote it is impossible for the Democratic Party to win the GE. She'd lose so many Obama supporters that I even imagine the possibility of a third party being born. If not this year then definitely by 2012.

Not that I believe for a moment she'll be allowed to steal the nomination or subvert the role of the ELECTED delegates.

Hillary only gets the strategic Limbaugh Republicans and far less Independents.

But the real issue is this: when we have our nominee, I am certain we will have enough time to unite behind our candidate. Unless the loser decides to use "the nuclear option."

He won't have the delegates to win, either -and has poor prospects against McCain in the fall.

For the good of the party -we need to have a compromise candidate (endorsed by both) emerge from the convention to take the whitehouse.

McCain is as flawed as Hillary. His lobbyist relationships will ooze out of
the woodwork. Obama's already beating him in the polls. You guys will
sat anything in your desperation.

I do like the Gore/Obama scenario if it came to a brokered convention, but
Hillary doesn't stand a chance if it comes down to that. No one will bring

48. She's lost in every measure that means anything,
so somebody else with more power than her, more money than her,
bigger guns than her, is going to have to take her down.

And they will rather than have her destroy the Democratic Party.

Since it is necessary to restate the original post since you didn't
read it, who needs to grow up here?

What a fucked up mess this is, a power-mad couple who won't see the
writing on the wall.

it's driving you CRAZY. As I said, DEAL WITH IT.

BTW, whining continuously about the same subject is not a sign of maturity.

Mine doesn't, but let's just say that they're well, not people who brag about their finances but have already given the limit for the primary and general to Obama.

The Obamabots who keep posting this crap have been warned repeatedly to stop, obviously they have no concept of backlash. Then they can learn the hard way, they were warned.

75. Who is the "we" you are referring to?
Why do people like you even reply to posts I make here?
Why do you even care?

You want the war to continue for 4 more years?
You want "bomb, bomb, bomb, Iran" McCain to be the President?

Hillary is a racist.
Hillary is one of the worst candidates the Democratic party has ever had.
She's a complete loser.

their minds.

In fact, the only thing you are accomplishing with these posts is irritating Kucinich and Edwards supporters. That's the real make up of DU. If Dennis or John were as close to taking it as Hillary is, none of us would want them to quit.

restored when Hillary does offically bow out...i just dont think large masses of people will not want to vote for a democrat because their fav didnt win.

Obama is a very likeable guy and when GE starts i think alot of Hillary folk will give him a 2nd look (or, rather a FIRST look) and start warming to him over McCain).

Here's to time and healing wounds.

62. My prediction:
It will go to the convention. Obama will choose Clinton as VP. He needs her votes and she needs his in order to beat McCain. A large percentage of Americans want this to happen. They need each other in order for the Dems to secure a win in November.

Florida is still to be decided. So, it could take several months to work florida out and until that's decided both candidates will be in limbo.

64. IMHO Party leaders should insure that the campaign is conducted with respect from both sides.
This could be a positive thing for the next couple of weeks if both candidates were to stick to the issues and stop the nasty attacks.

The problem is of course that the candidates, particularly Senator Clinton, have been going at each other in a very nasty and personal way. Worse yet, some remarks by supporters seem to have the potential to alienate large parts of the party that the Democratic Party nominee is going to need in November. Can a Democrat win without a large and enthusiastic African-American turnout. Not bloody likely. While I can't think of any remarks by Obama and his surrogates that would be offensive to women over the age of 50 (I'm one of them so I think I'd notice) It's clear that many of them are not happy with Senator Obama. Once again--this is a key part of a winning Democratic coalition and not to be alienated by any sane Democrat.

The party elders need to get the candidates to tone it down. Of course I have no idea of how to do it. The seniormost of the party elders happens to be in the running to become First Gentleman and has been one of Senator Clinton's more, shall we say, controversial surrogates. If you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem. Bill Clinton is a big part of the problem.

Maybe Dr. Dean should call on Jimmy Carter and Al Gore (both armed with their respective Nobel Peace Prizes) to lay down the law to the candidates and their chief surrogates.

If they can't keep it clean we'd better get used to saying President McCain.

"Obama gets it or every African American stays home!"

Don't you think African Americans can decide for themselves who to vote for once it's down to one Dem v. one Puke? Or do you get to decide for ALL African Americans?

Imagine the outrage if a poster said, "Anybody think 90% of whites will be voting Democrat?"

Your post is sh*t.

He's rejected your premature call for any candidate to drop out at this point.

And, are you really saying that if Hillary wins, under ANY circumstances, that we'd lose the White House? What if she had won after Super Tuesday?
